Funny how there's not a big noise by the audience when Freddie starts Bo Rhap... It was an unknown song then :-) :-)

Yes, and the audience also seem to be a little upset that after all the requests Freddie asked for, the "Prophet Song" is starting.

Bohemian Rhapsody was released before this concert on 31th October 1975.

Thank you to all the people involved in putting together this share of this historic Queen live show. It's historic as it's the very first live performance of the A Night At The Opera tour, and, by proxy, the first live performances of Bohemian Rhapsody, Sweet Lady, and The Prophet's Song. In addition, it's also the first Queen concert where Brian uses the John Birch replica of the Red Special as his spare guitar.

Enjoy the new tape, folks ! It's a great one.

Let's hope this inspires others to bring out their uncirculated Queen material, such as:

Philadelphia 75 audience master
Inglewood 12-22-77 audience master
Detroit 78 audience master
Providence 78 audience master

^ this stuff is ALL out there in one way or another. Let's hope that this creates a ripple effect of people simply wanting to bring the joy of new music to others. It can't just sit in attics or on hard drives forever.

There's no clipping whatsoever. I noticed lots of people on the pseudo-audiophile Steve Hoffman forum constantly misuse the term. There is general distortion on the source tape - as you'd expect from a vintage bootleg recording like this done on consumer gear.
