I was told the deadline for the announcement was this Friday. But who knows. This is Queen we're talking about. They'll probably wait until after the tour to announce it.

This would make sense, as now we're only six weeks away from the actual release. They can't be postponing it any longer. It should be out today, so I hope.

Updates from Greg Brooks @ Dutch Queen Convention:
-Queen on air with all BBC Sessions will be released as a double Cd. There will be a box set as well, including other onair content such as live concerts that were broadcasted
-Queen Greatest Hits 1&2 getting it's re-release on vinyl. GH 1 will have a different artwork and tracklist, it will be a double Lp
-the Brian May Box Set is work in progress!
-A big Queen Exhibition on a really large scale is planned, inspired by the David Bowie one and other great ones. The Queen one will be bigger than the Bowie one.
-A Live killers Box Set is work in progress, in-between other projects
-Working on Hyde Park/Earls Court, not yet sure if it is going to be the whole concerts as a solo release, or a compilation, cause of lack of quality...
-There will be a huge 3D book with pictures taken by Brian May over the years
- A massive book is to come with live pictures, maybe split in 2 books (70ies, 80ies)
-The safest news: It is very unlikely that there will be a anthology boxset with Outtakes and things, as Queen already rejected to include this things in the bonus Cd content of the Remastered series.
It is their music and they got to decide...
