Well it seems like the sales for the current tour are not very high. It's 15.000 in Linz and 25.000 in Cologne (stadium capacity is up to 50.000). And it's about those half-filled venues that Brian's not losing a word on his soapbox.

So the German newspaper states that the Cologne audience was 45,000. Wasn't Rock in Rio Portugal a sellout 72,000. It would be interesting to see the figures for these shows though, any figures for Barcelona? the footage seems to suggest a near sellout there too. So I wouldn't say low sales just yet!!

Of course we shouldn't be surprised that they're not selling out stadiums.

They haven't released a new album (unless we count The Cosmos Rocks) in over 20 years, and they've been touring pretty steadily for a decade now.

Most jukebox acts are lucky to be able to keep their careers afloat in theatres and casinos, never mind arenas and stadiums.

So I'd say they're doing pretty well.

They call it the last concert of Queen in Cologne. In a way you can read between the lines hat they accept no other Queen then the classic one. Because no on mentons the Queen + Paul Rodgers performance from summer 2005 in the same venue.

Well, the problem was more a housmade one. I was there in cologne and I think 25 000 in the audience was realistic. On this day 3 big acts are there... Bryan Adams, Iron Maiden and Queen with Adam Lambert. Unlucky planed on side the promoters.

I say the hate is not reasonable. They are steadily selling out arenas and festivals. That Cologne date wasn't sold out but is more a one time hapenstance.

Brussels isnt sold out yet either.
Not in the slightest way.

Heavy ticket prices btw.

I saw Muse at that venue (Palais 12 in Brussels) last tour and it surprised me how relatively small it is.

Like Bob said, for a jukebox act they aren't doing bad.
I remember the Q+PR gig in Cologne 2005 was far from sold out as well.
Geez, that's 11 years ago. Haha. Time flies.
