^ I don't think n00b will answer your question, so I will...

I don't think that it's really entertaining to listen to a capellas everytime you listen to the album+extras.
Also I think it only works pretty well with complicated vocal parts. I mean songs like Bring Back That Leroy Brown, Bicycle Race, BoRhap and others.

Also if I add an a capella version to the bonus list there will be even more versions of one song in the set. I think it'll be quite boring...

Instrumental version is another story. I really like to listen to instrumentals.

The movie features all Queen music in pretty rough mix and form. The soundtrack album was mixed from scratch with more polished material and sounds much better, even some dialogs there are different to the movie versions. I decided not to use any versions from the movie because it has very weak and thin sound oposed to the album.

Also I think 'The Hero' 2011 mix is great, and to have old movie mix near it is pointless. Even if it features slightly different exclusive elements.

What a good way to start the sunday!
Can't wait to listen it.
it's probably the least listened album of the group.
This is a good chance to re-discover it

Thanks CMI

A Technical question:
When you remaster the tracks, do you use a 94/24 resolution?

Yes, indeed it's the least popular album but the music and atmosphere of tracks are great and perfectly suit the movie.
I re-discovered the OST and found the Orchestral Score very enjoyable as well.

I use sample rate of the source (44100 Hz and higher) but resolution always is 32 bit.

Thank you cmi. I have recently got a means of downloading your collection. So I’m looking forward to catching up on your hard work.
I agree about everyone’s posts about their weakest album.
Personally I prefer Michael Kamen.

Once again, thank you for your amazing work. So good to listen to this !!! The hero is a great queen track and should have been in the greatest hits instead of the flash theme which is not so punchy. Freddie's voice is incredible in this track (and live, it's even better)

The B side is the biz. Can't get enough of Flash To The Rescue onwards.
Shame the official release sounds so shite.
The 2011 remix of The Hero shows just how good it could sound if they could be bothered to do it properly...

Finally had some time to listen some of this collection and it is very impressive!

Thanks to CMI and everyone involved in this project.

Thanks for this.

I had always assumed, without giving it much thought, that the high pitched vocals in The Kiss were done by Roger but it now sounds to me like Fred.
