Thank you for all your releases, they are great !

Awesome stuff. Still haven't downloaded Made in Heaven yet but spent whole day yesterday listening to A Kind of Magic.

Your work is fantastic!

Thanks!

Great, thanks! Have you already decided which album you're going to work on next?
C
Yes, of course... but later about it :)

And what do you think about Mother Love alternate outro version on CD2?

BTW,
I know that a lot of people don't like the mish-mash at the end of 'More Of That Jazz' track.
What's the best to do with the track for expanded 'Jazz' album edition?
Remove it in the album track or add 'clean' version as a bonus? I'm in dilemma with it...

You leave it as it is AND you make your own version.

I've always looked at your remasters as being just that - remasters of the album tracks without any additional material or remixing. (although in some instances you've failed to keep to that, for example The Works....)
Remixes are for the bonus CD!

LONG AWAY (instrumental)
Newly mixed track using 'Rock Band' stems of the song.

Hang on! "Rock Band" stems?
Where did these come from?
I thought I was on top of the stems until now....
C
Amazing work!! Thanks a lot for sharing it with us!!

Once again a phenomenal job on a great album!
S
Great job again! One purely subjective question...If you are going to break apart the intro from TYMD why not the outro as well?
C
^ ^ Here's my point of view…

The ADATR album actually doesn’t feature an outro which can be classified as a composition. After Teo Torriatte we have only a reprise of a Shepard tone melody which was a link between the ‘Introduction’ and ‘Tie Your Mother Down’ as well. With this approach we have a circle in an album.

The ‘Introduction’ composition in its 'clean' state ends with final guitar chord/gong around 0:45, after that we hear Shepard tone melody link to the next track for about 15 seconds.

You can see the note ‘Introduction - May’ under Tie Your Mother Down lyrics inside the LP gatefold, but there’s no ‘Outroduction – May’ note under ‘Teo Torriatte’ lyrics.

Examples of similar approach: Electric Light Orchestra ‘Face The Music’ 1975 and ‘Time’ 1981.
There’s a lot of untitled string sounds between songs throughout these albums which nothing to do with songs they link.

Fair enough! I admit I was hoping you had full versions of the Reel To Reel bits (TYMD, YTMBA, TT) that were shared as samples here and were going to surprise release them in this offering :P

What's the next album to be worked on?

He could give it a go....
S
Not sure what you mean...As in he could ask the right people to contribute? It would seem to be as good a time as ever and a worthy way to "release" them. :)
C
No, unfortunately I still don't have these tracks. Even if I will receive them from someone, I'm sure I'll be asked not to share them as part of these sets.   By the way...
