The Mandela effect? We are the champions changed ending

I wish I hadn't wasted my time a few months ago on Reddit trying to explain that the studio version of WATC never ended in "of the world", but many live versions do, including Live Aid and Wembley '86, probably the live Queen performances best known to the public.

People who believe in the so-called Mandela Effect trust their memories way too much. They do not have the sense to understand that it is completely possible to incorrectly remember something, even if you are convinced that it happened or was that way.

The dumbest ones actually believe human anatomy and geography are changing.

One of the latest Reddit posts says that the Cubans used to speak Portuguese as their main language. Apparently they disregard the fact that this would necessitate a whole re-writing of Cuban history and Spanish colonisation.

The world is doomed.

It’s ALWAYS been “This is from the Sheer Heart Attack album and it goes like this”....you must have had some seriously bad speakers!!!

I first heard it when I was about 7 and probably just assumed that's what he said and its been sealed in the ol' noggin ever since.

There's the Mandela Effect neatly summed up in one nice little nugget.

In this edit (that was broadcast by several networks) somebody took it on themselves to actually change the ending.
