Different Video for AKOM circulating ? Real Girls ?

Somebody in knowledge if there is an alternative Video for AKOM wich includes three women in red dresses is available somewhere ?

I`am not seeing shit people. Those girls were there at that video shooting. Obviously replaced by the animated ones for artistic/ stilistic reasons.

From what you describe: (*haven't watched the magic years since I bought it [with an NTSC transfer] on eBay 1.2 & 3)

but it sounds like there may have been girls on set to be stand ins (*preparation for a video shoot in which someone will have to interact with a person who's not there) for the performers (mainly Freddie) and possibly to serve drinks to John Deacon ;-)


probably done for rehearsal.


now if they SHOT rehearsals to show to Freddie (and SAVED them) that'd be something cool. :-)

haha, definitely ( i suspect ) stand ins for the animation, but i've often thought there must be tonnes of footage like this, every video must have quite a bit of footage left over just from the process of creating a video etc.. Things like days of our lives video (of which we have probably seen just a small section of), things that really were never meant to be seen but actually are little gems now, But as we know Queen are very strict on what they release and it really has to have context and value, however what a fascinating youtube series that would be, making-of, alternative takes, video of freddie chatting about how he wants things to go and so on.. there is a vault somewhere with all this in but i doubt it will see the light of day...
