First ever concert - Queen, Glasgow Apollo, 1st Dec 1979
15 years old, me and a classmate - as first concerts go that's the bar set pretty high right there. Not sure it was ever beaten, although first concert of Works Tour in Brussels came pretty close. Travelled to that from Glasgow on my own and just fell in with so many great people, particularly a group of lads from Milton Keynes. We had an unbelievable laugh singing the Queen catalogue on the top deck of the ferry with other strangers on the way over from Folkestone to Ostend, way into the early hours of the morning. Great memories.

First major concert was Green Day American Idiot tour in 2004, Perth Australia. They actually headlined a festival - Simple Plan, Grinspoon, Frenzal Rhomb...the early 00's rock renaissance.
First 'Queen' was Queen + Lambert, 22/08/2014, Perth Australia. The closest i'll get unfortunately.

My first concert ever was by the Italian singer Jovanotti in 1994. I was 17 and I don't like his music anymore.
My first Queen related gig was in 2005: Queen + P.R. in Milan.
Later, I've been at these Queen related shows:
-Queen + P.R. Milan 2008
-Queen + Adam Lambert Hammersmith Odeon 11 and 12 July 2012
-Queen + Adam Lambert Milan 2015
-Queen + Adam Lambert Piazzola sul Brenta 2016

David Gilmour in Belfast on his About Face tour (1984) was my first gig. I saw Queen at the RDS (Dublin) a few months later. I was 17. Good times.
