Still remember getting a big lump in my throat the moment I heard the first notes of One Vision live for the first (and probably last) time.
First concert was indeed Queen: Wembley Arena 10 December, 1980. (No they DIDN'T play Imagine that day.) :-(

I was only 10 in 1986 so never got to see Queen :-(

First concert I've seen, was Queen, Rotterdam Ahoy, 1978. Non-topic related, last concert, Walter Trout november 2016.

The atmosphere at Brian's gig was phenomenal as was the sight of him appearing on stage , this hero I had only seen pictures and videos of before.
There were some lasting musical highlights....but I guess not really that strong compared to what I saw after. I've seen Roger and Q P R as well and similarly there were highlights in them, but somehow not real gigs. Everyone just hoping for glimpses or rekindled memories of true magic.
