Hi my friends.

I open this thread for discussing about what can be, or, if anybody has any info of what will be the Queen release for 2017 (apart of the Monopoly game and the Queen In 3-D book)

My bet is for something from Live Killers (some years ago was a rumour about a LK box).

What do you think?
That time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends... ("The Miracle", Queen, 1989)

Just this past year Greg said that they're working on a Live Killers box! But who knows if it will be this year or next. Funny I was thinking about that box set today!

Live Killers is the one piece missing from the classic Queen vinyl reissues

Apparentely Mr Bad Guy will be re-released. I believe we'll get a Queen product also. I find it difficult to release a Live Killers show.... It's time to release all the videos in blu ray!

Expanded Live Killers spread over 3 discs. The old 'fades' at the end of each old side perfectly hidden by the additional tracks to balance it correctly.

Lovely.

That said, I'd be happy with a straight reissue, I love it too much in it's original form. Bonus material (in the form of a complete show from the original tapes including the discussed 'missing' tracks) would form additional discs. Bowie totally stunk up the 2005 remixes of David Live and Stage by inserting additional content and resequencing.

Sadly I don't think we'll get it, but the Bob Harris US Tour footage, much of it on film, would make me salivate.......live footage, (perhaps even a full gig or two in there?), rehearsal footage, in depth one on one interviews, soundchecks, studio, on the road, backstage, parties.....it's all in there and we've tantalizingly had snippets so far but I'd LOVE to see that released. Could be done in several editions so that there are slimmed down ones and deluxe editions etc...

40th anniversary of News Of The World tour. It would be great timing for release of Bob Harris footage...
Get your head down baby - we're gonna ride tonight...

Yeah, that would also be massively marketable in America too.

Sadly Greg said that they aren't planning to continue with the "40th anniversary" thing. They did that with Rainbow and Odeon but i seriously doubt we get a NOTW boxset this year although that is 40 years ago. Hopefully i'm wrong. Until we know more it will the Monopoly game, the tour and the 3D book which i will skip all together.

I'm still looking forward to the Brian solo box set as mentioned by him and Greg in a podcast a year or two ago.
At the very least, I'd like to see his Brixton gig on SD blu-ray with a 5.1 mix and perhaps God (the dream is over) reinstated...
The remastered video of Since You've Been Gone from this gig on YouTube looks amazing!!
*fingers crossed*
Dead Daddy Long-legs. I'm still drinking it.

Two sides of me has this to say:
Me: Don't get your hopes up

Other me: I was hoping for Earls Court and/or Houston, but I'm cool with Live Killers.

Live Killers box. CD re mastered in its original form. DVD of one of the filmed shows from the period, possibly Hammersmith, and sound track CD of the DVD.
That way we get the original album, we get a DVD/Bluray and we get an uncut complete performance on CD. These could also be made available separately.

cmsdrums post about the Bob Harris stuff. Yes this should have been released ages ago. Mid 70's classic period. At the time they made quite a point of telling everyone about it through the fanclub and on TOGWT. We've had so much from the 80's they should really re address the balance and maybe listen to what fans are saying. . .

But this is Queen productions we're talking about!

Well, a nice concert from The Works tour should be released with great detail paid to the mixing of these god-awful electronic drums...although they made them sound quite nicely for the Singles Collection box set - double side to A Winter's Tale! (Rock in Rio blues).

If they would release whole show from the Australia 1985 tour then it would be really something, totally not seen and heard before concert released for the first time.

Fort Worth on the other hand....... one can dream...

So much material yes, but come on. If that WERE to be released, we all know they'd compile it into a short 20 minute teaser.
