Brian May & Kerry Ellis - Golden Days

What are your thoughts on the album?

My thoughts:
- Anthems is way better!
- The Kissing Me Song has a new mix.
- Great version of Story Of A Heart!
- Nice arranjement on I Who Have Nothing!
- It's Gonna Be Alright is fine.
- The other songs are forgetabel or/and were know already.

Story of a Heart
It's Gonna Be Alright

good songs
Fuckers
I downloaded it just to listen to Brian's penned songs. I don't care the covers and never will.

Listened once: I confirm I can't stand Kerry's voice more than 2 songs in a row.

I confirm I can't believe this Brian May is the musician that delivered Back To The Light, Another World, used to hang out and record with great musicians, had a reputation, etc etc

I can't understand why he's spending time delivering this crap with KE instead of recording and being a solo artist like Robert Plant, Ian Hunter, Jeff Lynne and others. It's his life and his decision, I know, but I can't understand it.
One word review - Boredom.

Saw in youtube their performance of Since You´ve been gone in 2012 and the problem is not Kerry but the songs the choose or write.
Just my two cents.
That was a cringeworthy listen. You can tell there will have been a lot of back-patting in the studio during the recording.
Shite, he should be doing an album himself instead of fucking about with that wench.

Saw the live on the "Anthems" tour - thought they were great
On record, another thing entirely...
Boring, no other word to describe this album

Nice to listen once, and only once......
Minimal effort. Just play live, more money this way.
There are some very nice accoustic moments from Brian, and Parisienne Walkways is the standout track, I am disappointed that he seems to have left the AC30's behind this time, it sounds like teh Deacy or VBM-1 throughout, but some nice moments if you want lighter stuff
