[There's going to be a 70's 'style' lighting rig. . . . . . . . . . . . . best we can hope for is a bigger DW kit, but I doubt that to be honest
Maybe he could pick up some cheap deep shell toms from Neil
Peart!

I'd heard that lighting wise they were planning something very different, which could mean a 70's par can rig! but my understanding was something very up to date.

Pingfah, re:

>>Ach. Such a large tour, but yet they still won't come even slightly close to the Westcountry, considering Roger's roots here, you'd think they'd at least get as close to Cornwall as Plymouth or Bristol. Birmingham is as close as they get, that's just ridiculous, they are ignoring a huge part of the country, just as they did last time.

The good people of the Westcountry have far better things to do and spend their hard-earned on than a glorified tribute act. Ashton Gate would have been a good shout but I guess Beechy Boy doesn't want the threat of a half-empty stadium in the pissing
rain....
Maybe "Beechy Boy" knows a thing or two more than you about touring. Who in their right mind would play an outdoor show in December in the UK.

The obvious reason there are no West Country shows is because there are no west coutry arenas. The tour is pretty comprehensive and I'm sure if there was a suitable venue they would have played.

Bought 4 tickets for Dublin today at €101 each. Looked on Seat Wave straight after and depending on the section, tickets were selling for between €350 and €699 each. This is daylight robbery. Ticketmaster are constantly going on about touts and yet they facilitate this on their website. As someone has already said in this discussion....they should be wearing masks.
Any chance for pre-sale link for Dublin? I'd really like to use the opportunity to visit Ireland again.
Maybe try this:

Thank you so much. Now to plan the trip so I can also get down to Cork for a day or two (ten years since I was at UCC).
You're welcome!

And welcome back to Ireland! We could do with the money!

Someone told me Brian had commented that they were doing a sort of nodd to the Pizza Oven era... but we shall see

Went down early this morning to SSE Arena Belfast. Only the back of the arena and restricted view seating left, and I wasn't gonna pay £80 to watch a big screen and a couple of ants on stage, and I suspect Lambert would probably do my head in after a few songs. Would have been great to have seen BM and RT though.

Brian posted on his website yesterday they will add a "Final" show in Birmingham. How must we interpretate the word final?

Last tour with Adam and the band Queen ?? Or last show at the tour??

He quite clearly says its an extra chance to see the band before Christmas. Saying they are adding one final date (to the tour) is not saying it's the last date of a final tour
