Adnan Kashoggi is dead

Just read this on spiegelonline.de :


"Seine Feste dauerten teilweise tagelang. Zu einer Party für Elizabeth Taylor, die eine Krebserkrankung überstanden hatte, engagierte er die Rockgruppe Queen."

(His parties would last for days. For one party, where Elisabeth Taylor celebrated her cure from cancer, he hired Queen.)

Is that true? Of course we all know the Track Kashoggis Ship on The Miracle LP.

What is the story behind that song? Did they really play his party?

I could NOT imagine Freddie or the other boys doing that.

They played Sun City. That does suggest they were willing to sink quite deep for money.

Who knows how many private gigs they did. It is quite a common thing.
Nowadays that would be all over the social media but back then it was more of a private affair.

I really doubt that Queen played for Khashoggi. But did they party on his ship?

I can't see anything about the Queen track at that link, only info about Khashoggi himself that was already well known - has it been edited since you read it, and if so what did it say about it?

German Newspaper "Bild" wrote today that Kashoggi invited only Freddie to said Party of Ms. Taylor to sing for her. No words about when it was.
Very strange. Maybe someone contact the Doctor :-)

I didn't find any information about Taylor having cancer until the nineties. Is there a date?

No date mentioned

The Cancer thing is mixed up I guess. E.T. had many health and addicton problems.
Maybe Kashoggi had given a party to welcome her back from the "Betty Ford" clinic :)
