I am going to post here more often now. its great to see someone who was a real friend of Freddies and to get all this wonderful new information on his life in The Big Apple. it makes a change from all the vicious rows about his sexuality that are happening right now on Facebook. I have completely changed my opinion on his sexuality after reading this thread. I thought he was bi but i can see he was gay. its a shame people get so much online abuse for saying he was gay (i just witnessed people saying awful things). More people should rise up and not be afraid to call him gay. peace!

Yep. I just jumped in on a Barbara V post in the Fan Club group on facebook. Even more people on there claiming Thor is a liar bc he dares say Freddie was gay. Someone asked them why they believe he was bisexual and they said it's because "it's well documented that he fucked Barbara."
Someone told them that Peter Freestone said it even he didn't believe that to be true and they said he can't be trusted. L O L. Peter Freestone. Can't be trusted. Yeah ok.
Get this, this one chick goes on and on spreading the Barbara bisexual lie because she's a huge fan of hers and says Thor can't be trusted but this friend of Barbara's who never met Freddie CAN (she wrote letters
to some friend of Barbara's who admits they didn't meet Freddie, just to confirm that they had sex). This friend was told by Barbra that it happened so this pathetic woman made a Barbara fan page that promotes lies to gay erase him. I went on the page and left a ton of proof about Barbara's story not being true and she deleted it all and blocked me from it.
So according to them, screw Peter Freestone. Screw Jim Hutton. Chris Taylor. Screw anyone who thinks he was gay.

Someone in the Spanish fan club had an interview with Peter Freestone last year and asked him directly if Freddie was gay or bisexual. He said very plainly "gay". Heres the translated answer. It was originally in Spanish but the quote Peter was referring to was actually Freddie saying "Yes, I'm as gay as a daffodil, my dear".

This was a documentary that involved his family his band mates Peter Freestone and yes even Barbara (who got on film here saying she was just a friend). It was fact checked. It was proven. But my quest in life is not to change the foolish views of others. I think that the precious friendships I gathered in my life and the
respect from Freddie Mercury allowing me to "feel" I was equal to him (although I never really felt so) have to be included in the
