Matt Z hey,
I never saw Freddie play a video game or talk about a video game. I don't think he was interested.

He was so looking forward to a Disney animated movie named "Delilah" which featured an animated version of his beloved cat of the same name. That idea was scrapped probably due to Freddie's failing health.
Oh, wow that's cute! Piece of info that was never mentioned in any book or article on Freddie. Sadly his passing stopped any efforts, it would be great to see him as a filmmaker.:)
Can you tell us more about: if he was to produce or co-write the storyline? How it would be look like - more as animated documentary or kind of fiction/family-child movie ? Was it to include animated version of him?

Hi again Seed_Of_Rhy,
Disney's"Delilah" was very much in the beginning stages. He had wanted to put his song "Delilah" in, perhaps the theme song of the movie. He also would have had some creative input but Disney has excellent animation artists, filmmakers, and song writers. It was, again, too early to know what the finished product would have in it. Also, as far as I know, Freddie was not going to be a character in the movie.

Hi Thor. How long was his wang?
You can find the specs of the various microphones Freddie used, by Googling the various model numbers :)

Hi Thor. Really appreciate your time and response to the questions. There have been rumours about Freddie knowing Rudolf Nureyev. Did he mention him or do you know something about this?

Hi Nitroboy,
What are you talking about? microphones? I don't think that is what Dr Magus had in mind.

Hello Borhap80,
I know he met Nureyev, but I don't think they pursued any friendship, at least he never talked about one.

What sort of music are you into Thor?
Freddie, from what I've read, loved Jimi Hendrix and the likes of Led Zeppelin etc in the earlier years. Did he enjoy heavier music when you knew him or was he more interested in what was happening at the time, what was playing in clubs etc?
Thank you for the great insight and hope you're well.

Hi Thor,

As a close friend, has Freddie ever shared true meaning behind any of his songs to you?
For example, the song “We Are The Champions” is sometimes interpreted to be inspired by and dedicated to gay community.
Nothing really matters in the end.

Hello, Thor! Thank for the answers. Delilah's good song for animation.Even a short film plus Freddie's creativity would have borne the great result.

And Tor, I know that got probably bother you to death with my questions %)
but the next are about the relationship side now:
1) With whom of Queen (except of course Freddie) you get well? if not from the band maybe with some of the staff or workers?
2) How d'you think if Freddie could be just a friend with a man who firstly attracted him sexually?
Had Freddie judge every man as a sexual object before he got certain for himself that they should be just friends?

Hi Thor,
sorry, me again ...could I ask some more ( silly) questions ?
- when you first met, did it occur to you that Freddie was of "non- western " descent ?
-would he ever explain or talk about his Parsi background ?
( although he had a western education, am totally "wowed" by the fact that as an immigrant to the UK he became one of the world's biggest rockstars. Who else could say that of him/herself, at least among those in his generation ?)
-did you get to meet photographer Mick Rock who apparently also hung out with Freddie in NY in the early eighties ?
- Peter Freestone mentioned in his book (or somewhere else?) that Freddie showed different facettes of himself to different people. Would you have an opinion on that ?--Thanks so much !

I'm pulling his leg because he's being a disrespectful asshole, asking about such a personal thing. I know you're sharing private stories and moments, but I assume you'd agree there's a limit somewhere :)

Sorry, but wasn`t it Freddie who used the "How big is your dick?" question as an opening line in his talks in the bars? So why is it disrespectful now of Dr. Magus to ask? I think it`s just funny!

Poor Thor, Question after Question

Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions. Here is an unpleasant one:

To be honest, it feels rather silly to me for guys in their 30s running after cocks, anuses (or pussies) and booze for the majority of their spare time. During my 20 years as a Queen fan I have always thought of Freddie as an intelligent and sophisticated person, who also had a less sophisticated side. In documentaries it seems that whenever any of his non-gay friends are being interviewed, they talk about his intelligence, talent, professionalism and love for classical music etc., while the gay friends almost always talk solely about partying and sex (and how extremely gay he was). The same trend seems to continue in this thread. Was it really like this for you that Freddie only cared about partying when spending time with his gay entourage and went to places like museums, the opera or the ballet with entirely different people? Or perhaps there was a time period in his life when he mostly cared about partying and sex and this happened to be the time period when you spent the most time with him?

Wow Sheldon,
I think I need to answer you first. Most of Freddie's sophistication and intelligence was earned prior to my meeting with him. His creative genius spoke for itself in the early 1980's. When Freddie came to New York City and found that he, unrecognized for once, blended in with the gay crowd...He Loved It! To me and my friends there was no doubt that he was a gay man. As far as I know, for 2 1/2 years although still busy with two concert tours and two collaborations, he liked to enjoy himself the same in the way that the culture allowed at that time. Yes, I was one of those partying friends and Freddie found good escape with us. Having had an extensive appreciation for Opera myself, Freddie and I occasionally discussed it. Are you aware of anyone who attended Wagner's "Der Ring des Nibelungen" ALL four parts at the Metropolitan Opera House... twice?...That would have been me. I also enjoyed operas by Puccini, Benjamin Britten, and Mozart, etc. I attended about fifteen Broadway shows and two in London. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Columbia University, made a nice career for myself, and I've been retired since age 60. Most of all, I am still alive. So please don't put Freddie down for being gay and enjoying what the common man was enjoying back then. He was still an "intelligent and sophisticated person.". He took a break from that so called sophistication and enjoyed himself despite the odds that were against him. We often remarked "on his intelligence, talent, professionalism and love for classical music" but NOT in a snotty, holier than thou, sort of way.. Sorry Sheldon but this is my "unpleasant" reply to your question. But thank you for the question.
