Sort of a funny story. So I'm stuck in traffic here in Houston and I'm staring at what was once the Houston Summit. Some of you may remember it from Queens famous 77 Houston show. It's now the "super church", Lakewood (that podcasts around the world). My mother dragged my brother and I to it a few years ago and we spent the whole sermon whispering "Freddie fucking Mercury was RIGHT THERE once. Just standin there, being epic."

Time Machine????? I have one in my hand!!! I have been transported back thru time watching Freddie and Queen and virtually absorbing ALL they had to offer us thru the Magical Internet!! I've also passed this love and amazement on to my 4yr old granddaughter....who reaches for my phone and says "can I see Freddie Mercury???" She knows all of the songs by heart and calls "Love of my Life" HER song!!! (Although she calls it the "bring it back" song!!!!

Welcome Hyginasmile! I'm not quite sure how I stumbled on this thread either, but I marked it as a favorite so I would never lose it. Thor has been so generous in sharing his friendship with Freddie and I consider that a gift. I'm excited for Lee to join in.

I kinda feel bad I waited so long to jump in.....since this forum is at its "end"...but when I somehow found this amazing site.....it started me at....oh about page 55.....and since I have never done this before (hehe feel
like a "virgin"....and I haven't been one of those since 1978....when I saw my first showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show!!!!!!)) ;) ....so I read a few threads then realized I needed to start at the beginning.....and it took me All week to catch-up....only to discover that pg.112 was basically an intermission.......til the next Forum which I highly anticipate!!!!!

But to All that have participated.....and ESPECIALLY THOR!! this was an Ahhhhmazing GIFT to stumble upon!!!! THANK YOU TO ALL!!!!!
I feel as if it has cleared up many things I have had whirling in my head about Freddie, since I started on this "Freddie" journey about 8 months ago!!
I truly look forward to the new Forum....and all that will be shared!!!!

I'm also most Grateful that I can read and share my excitement of my "Freddie" discovery and love with other like-minded people!!!!
It kinda reminds me of the first time I finished reading "Atlas Shrugged "......ALL U WANNA DO IS TALK TO OTHERS ABOUT IT!!!!!! SHARE IT......GET IT PUT INTO THE UNIVERSE!!!!

I bring up Freddie ALL the time.......but so few people "bite"......
