I greatly appreciate your thoughts on my early career, believe it or not despite those
horrible outcomes for most of the kids, I found it very rewarding. Back in those days
we had some success with certain Leukemia patients and even better results with
Hodgkin's disease. To see those kids actually recover was inspiring to me especially
after the horrors of the necessary treatments.

Rehabilitation which I stayed in for forty years. Although some poor paraplegic and
quadriplegic patients were AGAIN so sad, good outcomes and recoveries were many
and SO gratifying.

I think I may be sending too much information about myself which was not my reason
for being here. Myself and my group of friends were an important part of Freddie's
life but in the entire scheme of things, we were only a small slice. I am sure that
some super-fans would like to discuss Freddie's life and not mine. I was, after all
just a friend, while Freddie was a SUPERSTAR!

since none of the New York group of friends were musically inclined (I failed at playing the accordion after four years of
instruction- LOL). none of us thought we could make constructive criticism about any kind of music, least of all Freddie's.

Freddie was one of the most "down to earth" persons that I have ever spent time with.
Again, I've said this before, he was so, (to borrow your name), INVISIBLE against the
New York City backdrop, that it led to so much more camaraderie than would have
been possible anywhere else at that time.

Did you consider Freddie to be a shy person? If so, in what way? So many other people that knew him stated he was in interviews, so it made me wonder if you ever saw that side of him as well. That he could exude such confidence on stage and be shy off stage makes him even more fascinating...and endearing!

by hearing too much about me as if I think that I were famous and not sticking to the real star Freddie. I think I will leave the
answer to those who follow this thread. Twenty pages later, I think I may have run out of good Freddie information, but
I've noticed that many of the questions tend to jog my memory. Because it forces me to re-live that precious
time in MY history....I love to answer what I know about but have to shy away from some questions where I just don't know or
don't ACCURATELY remember.

after-hours club, he did not pursue me. When we all went out socially later on, I notice
that he tended to shy away from strangers and was very happy just talking to us.

I don't have any stories about Freddie's cats. He did not have any pets in New York and so I
only saw them on trips to London. It said something about them however, when Freddie was
in his upstairs bedroom and all the cats were stretched out with him. He loved them.
