It would have been great to participate in one of those tribute events today! Unfortunately, I live nowhere near any of those celebration venues, but I did wear my "Freddie For A Day" tee shirt to the office (even though my supervisor was up for a visit and I never dress that casually for work). I explained why I was wearing it. No problems!
This evening I listened to some of my Freddie favorites that are not on Queen's greatest hits CD's including Lily of the Valley, Mustapha, March of the Black Queen, and You Take My Breath Away (the live version from the Hyde Park concert is one of the most achingly beautiful songs I have ever heard).

Try to understand that your comments came across a certain way that didn't look very good. Although I wouldn't have said anything I too thought you meant Freddie wasn't gay and people were wrong for mentioning it or whatever. After all you did ask about the doc that focused on his sexuality quite a bit and then seemed annoyed that peoppe asked about his sexual identity. Why on earth would I think that Fred wasn't gay? Have you actually read my other posts and learned my opinion on the matter? I commented on the doc in response to Thor mentioning he was on it and felt he was tucked up a bit, whereas I feel he came across fine.
My comments were based on people wanting to know the individuals who he slept with and even to whom may have infected him.
This poster got an aggressive response because he was insulting based on no evidence.
