clarification of Thor Arnold's role in Freddie's life

Hello love2spin,
There was never structured time other than the time Lee, Brandon and I were given tickets to attend "Time",
the musical by Dave Clark. During the day we spent quality time with Freddie. Most noteworthy is the time
Freddie decided that we should have dinner outside, with all the "inside furniture" and china carried out of the house
so to enjoy the Midsummer's Night (where the sun stays out until about 11pm). It was a bit of Heaven on Earth.
Joe F. and Phoebe cooked up a crispy, crusted roast pork which was superior to even many chic upscale restaurants.
Freddie was the ultimate "homebody" in those later days. The grass was never greener outside of the Garden Lodge,
so why go there.
Even before Freddie was sick, he never ventured out with us at night in London, but was happy, at that time, we
could walk from his house to the Earl's Court thriving gay scene.

I'm actually hoping someone here knows about it and could shed some light because I don't know much about it either. There's a video of them walking the runway on YouTube but Ive never looked into it in great detail. From what I gather it was a fashion show to raise money for the same campaign Live Aid was. Boy George was in it too. I keep looking at her dress... The fashion of the time.... Pretty rough lol

I shit you not, there is a blog on Tumblr where someone repeatedly claims Freddie was lusting for Jane - 'it's in his eyes.'

Lol there was a bit at the start of the video where Freddie walked on stage without her and she had to run after him and grab his arm! He was so full of 'bi lust' that he forgot about her for a second

Funny you mention the look freddie gave her (which is a joke BTW, to all the ladies of FM:LOLSOG facebook group who are watching-so put down your torches and gay hate posts) because Ive even seen them say that he looks at all women with deep lust in every photo ever taken of him. Half the time he wasn't even looking at the woman in the photo L O L

Talking about religion....I've always wondered what inspired Freddie to write the song "Jesus" which was on the Queen debut album? A song about Jesus of Nazareth included with "Seven Seas of Rhye", "My Fairy King", and "Keep Yourself Alive" etc. seems like a curious choice. Thoughts anyone?

I think it has to do with the Christian education in the Indian boarding school and he was a huge fan of American Black Gospel music.

Primejive and Thor I'm still laughing at the women on YouTube who claimed that Freddie's gay friends were bi erasing him. Saying Freddie hid his bisexuality from them (yourself included Thor) because all of you hated bisexuals with a passion and he pretended to be gay to impress you all. I read the comments and my friend was on there correcting them saying Peter Freestone also said he was gay and not bi and guess what they said back? "He's lied about so many other things it's just something else he lied about. He uses Freddie's name to make money. He can't be trusted. But Barbara could."


Peter Freestone couldn't be trusted by them because he said Freddie was gay and they didn't want to hear that fact. Barbara is trusted even after her lies were called out (with proof). Whatever it takes for these women to believe he wasn't gay, they'll do it!

Oh yeah and they claimed "the gays forced him to do things. They were a horrible influence on him and they stole him away from Mary!"
