More Queen+.......... I never cared for Under Pressure in the first place; had it been a Queen track it wouldn't have sold in anywhere NEAR the volumes it did. Bowie and Freddie competing to be heard on a few cover versions? Not sure that's of much interest to me either unless the backing tracks were, truly, live-in-the-studio and left alone by the curly-haired misogynist; but we all know that's not going to happen.
Collaborations? Meh.......
A lot of bowie's catalogue is being put out so not sure if they'll be too much objection from his estate, sure he wanted his family looked after. Queen need to put something worthy out after some very iffy collections and bonus issues since queen rocks. Haven't listened to made in heaven in ages either, only really liked the unreleased tunes not the reworked freddie ones. Something new/old please...
Hey all I think everyone is missing the point when queen done the rah mix version pressure in 1999. There was 2 demos mixed in one from the highlander sessions with new york from 86 with the lines you say new york is dangerous. This falsetto from freddie was also used on pain is so close to pleasure so must be round that time. And also the bowie part even the blind man could see there was some soul. Which is taken from a Queen song possibly the same as feel like but with bowie on it. That song is titled People On streets
So you have
Cool cat
(Bowie backing vocals)
People On Streets. (With some lines from feel like and under pressure)
Plus one other which is being kept secret??
I can't imagine us hearing it any time soon.
