Well some of us do call that heavenly singing! Have you ever listened to an operatic tenor? The opera community would laugh after reading your comments since Adam often sounds just like they do. Their technique and skill is the standard for truly outstanding voices. You can't measure Adam's voice to the the auto tuned, lip synching crap that passes for singing nowadays. Adam hits those high notes with a round, warm tone that is never shrill and somehow winds up melodious. It is never that screeching, brittle sound like some of the women singers that I hear. You have no clue about what constitutes an amazing voice. You are perfectly within your rights not to like it, but it is certainly called singing and exceptional singing at that.

Adam Lambert's lower notes lack resonance and sound unsupported. His upper belts are very nasal and sound like screaming.
