Rarely do I speak in absolutes when it comes to music. But I will here - if you are a Queen fan and don't think this kicks ass, then you are dead inside.
This is one of the best Queen covers ever done. Gary, Nuno and the boys absolutely slay. The arrangement and delivery are spotless, and full of energy and sheer joy.

Loved it!!!!!
Always love Extreme, and their rendition of Queen songs is always terrific - energetic and totally entertaining! I'd love to see Brian and Roger do a concert with Gary and Nuno. Now THAT'S a gig I'd definitely go for.

No shame in that.
Some of the biggest artists in the world sometimes enjoy playing in small clubs. The club atmosphere can be a wonderful thing.

I happened upon this a few days ago when I was watching Queen with my 17 month old daughter. She's generally not interested in TV, which isn't a bad thing, but she loves watching Queen! Great taste at a young age. Anyway, I was really impressed with this cover, it sounds awesome. Thumbs up from me

I'm one of the few that absolutely loves the original studio version of Staying Power. Definitely one of Freddie's best songs from the '80's.

ACTUALLY. ... it wasn't one man and his dog. I'd posted this in the GENERAL section over a month ago.
Nuno plays at lucky strike Hollywood from time to time with some of his ex players from DRAMAGODS (Restivo and Ferlazzo)
This place was PACKED....only you're seeing the viewpoint of the cameraman near the door between the closed barrier (*about 6-8 feet from the audience)
Notably, Brian May supposedly ATTENDED (*this was after the *June 26/27 gigs at Hollywood Bowl: so i kinda FIGURED he'd be there, since Nuno was also having Gary as a guest that night)
...however he did not perform. I have a piss poor recording of it because I'd left my usual recorder in my ride's car coming back from the QAL show.
Thankfully this person recorded it. Mine sounds terrible. I desperately tried to record something because it appeared as if no-one acknowledges the significance of Gary and Nuno jamming together.
BRIAN was expected to play on TYMD. But opted out by being "a little under the weather".
It was SOO packed that having stayed in front for 3 hours, i couldn't look back and see him. ..however many others acknowledged that he WAS in attendance.
They also played BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY with "CHOIR RIOT" (Nuno's joke) .it was a lot of fun.
But believe me, it was VERY packed

What would Brian do? lol
Nuno is far better than Brian in a live setting.

Unless it was a gig for colleges in the 1990's i don't think people would be as forward thinking and supportive/promotional about such an event.
They'd really do a number though.....Gary and Nuno are such staunch real fans that it'd be something really special

A pretty unusual choice for a song to cover, but a really good performance of the song. But I don't agree it's better than the MK performance, that's my favourite one.
