I like Extreme a long time, my favorite song is Hole Hearted and I always like to hear it.
This is pretty good cover.

I've seen it already when Matt posted it here before. Nice version. Really nice to hear live horns.

This is actually a FAR BETTER quality recording than the heavily compressed and noise gated recording previously available by the photographer up front at the gig

Some of the biggest artists in the world sometimes enjoy playing in small clubs. The club atmosphere can be a wonderful thing.

Yes of course, but Extreme aren't one of the biggest artists in the world. They're a fantastic band and all, but they're probably not even top 100 in terms of success, impact, etc.

Of course.
But I was thinking more like the Stones. They still play plenty of club dates. In fact, they usually rehearse for their tours in Toronto and do an unannounced club gig or two to get their feet wet.

shows HS could have been a blistering album if it had been recorded properly..
..with real guitars...made of wood!

That was damn good! Nuno was clearly having fun. Gary too. But the live horns were awesome! Nice find!

I'm one of the few that absolutely loves the original studio version of Staying Power. Definitely one of Freddie's best songs from the '80's.[/QUOTE]
Yes and Michael Jackson stole a lot of Freddies Influence from Hotspace and used it for 'Thriller' which Freddie shouldve been on...long story.. have no time to type

Maybe in ten years or so, people will compare "Hot Space" with pieces of Mozart, Beethoven and the like...
Nevertheless, I enjoyed it pretty much...

^ if Euro trash 90's techno disco crap can come back .....anything is possible.
Hopefully a REAL return of rock and roll is possible as well.
Afterthought: hadn't someone brought up the suggestion that UNDER PRESSURE's bass lick was stolen from a classical piece? (*surely coincidental. ...so few notes in western music only so many permutations)
