What did you think of the samples? Did anybody figure out the recording info?[/QUOTE]
It's from Liverpool 79.
Feel free to post the whole thing :)

What I absolutely LOVE is when QPL lin eup something that is supposed to WOW everyone with the attendant press release to whip up the masses, only to then find that, within the community, an illegitimate release is imminent that is set to completely blow the afore mentioned official release out of the water.
The generosity of people that saw fit to preserve a moment in time shows no bounds.

We discussed it on page 9 :)

Very deep, but what the fuck are you talking about? There is nothing imminent, except your stupidity.

I can draw you pictures if it'll help, but, in small words - just for you - tapers that give their recordings to be turned into files and shared are very nice people.

Let's wait and see; I'm prepared to, happily.
The comment, however, whether this appears or not, stands. And you, sir, are a complete and utter fucking bell-end.
Hope this helps.

I can't recall all of them but he's from California and I'm sure he attended and recorded San Diego gigs: December 16 1977 and July 5 1980 and Inglewood ones: December 18, 19 and 20 1978 and September 14 and 15, 1982. Not sure about Inglewood 1977, but probably yes. Also he mentioned about some recordings from South Africa concerts they played in the middle of the 80's, probably South City, not sure if named it correctly.
Will try to get the full list of recordings and will post it here as soon as I get it.

If "the friend" is a local taper, then he can't have the Sun City tape. If he's also a collector, then by now we would know about the existence of these US recordings. Plus, choosing only gigs without alternate audience tapes is a bit too much. You should be more careful with the next pranks, but i must admit you are very good. I enjoyed most the endless technical obstacles and the pseudo-error moments, "flaq", "south city".

You're being naughty and twisting things to suit you, aren't you bell-end. Where does Black King state that "the friend" recorded Sun City himself as a local taper?
But, playing along with your warped 15-year-old mind, could this just be someone that tapes shows, locally, and was able to get his little ass off to an airport in 1984 after booking a flight to the land of the arch-racist? Maybe he traded a Sun City master for something he had captured himself?
>If he's also a collector, then by now we would know about the existence of these US recordings
Could this international traveller also be one of those reviled "hoarders" that has suddenly had a change of heart?
Think outside of the box my pedigree chum...........
Probably time for your bottle now, so pop that bib on, jump up into your little high chair and let mummy strap you in.

@Aristide1
What are you talking about? He recorded many 'local' gigs in US, especially in CA, then traded some of them, to make his collection more attractive. Simple as that. As for Sun City, he didn't recorded those gigs, the taper was from Germany, they were trading with each other in the 80's.

I've followed you from the beginning, and i'm just curious what ending do you have in mind, something spectacular, or you will just disappear.

Yeah, very funny.

Hey aristide1, I hate to repeat myself, but could you just stop being such a huge asshole? Please?

I don't like to spit in serious people (like you pittrek) soup, but don't you think the soup is cold now, and nobody wants to eat it?

Black King: what are you waiting for now? You wrote you e-mailed the taper but going by your earlier posts - including those posts where you did an attempt to post the links - approval from the taper wasn't needed anymore?
Will the share finally come to fruition or is there still an obstacle?

By that logic, we now know of every single tape that exists in every attic and basement in the country.
Did you know about Boston 76 before June 2009?
Boston 77 before February 2010?
Detroit 77 before last March?
And every tape that will emerge from 2018 and beyond ? What's in the crystal ball?
