are the Osaka tapes a new generation to the ones we already have then? coz I know those two shows are already out there, I wondered if they're better quality or a different tape

Ugh, why am I legitimately depressed now? I smelled the bullshit as soon as I saw those setlists the other day.

That's a shame, the cover could have been very creative with what was uploaded. :P

Absolutely. But fuck this trashbag, he obviously has no real life if this is how he chooses to spend his time. Was his birth certificate mistaken for an apology letter from the condom factory?

This whole debacle combined with other certain factors is just reminding me that we really just oughta make a whole new Queen forum. One with ACTUAL moderators who can quality control bullshit like this, the spam accounts and the other pissbaby trolls that lurk here.

I can't believe some of the reactions here. The guy promises to post a 1977 concert with several songs from 1980-1991 in the setlist and you actually believe him? Have you all got time machines?

I bet you're Black King

I think we all thought that maybe the embryos were stuff that maybe sounded like the songs but weren't exactly like it

^This. Are you really that desperate for something new that you blindly trust everything a new user posts, without a single drop of evidence?

I was skeptic and I was right. Ehhh... When I saw the setlist I was sure: All Dead All Dead live? Sleeping On The Sildewalk in the middle of medley? That was almost impossible. Everything was too good to be true...
I think everybody forget about Crazy Tour snippets. I hope RabinMurryEC decided to upload full recording.

Yeah right Sue, I'm Black King with 17 years of membership and 900 posts. That's much more likely than being someone who can actually READ.
And yes, a few embryonic snippets in Brian's solo were a distinct possibility, but there were just too damn many. Most of the songs on Innuendo, including Headlong, were at least partly about his impending demise. I'll bet they weren't thinking of that in 1977.

It was a joke, mate.
If I were being serious though, my logic would be that Black King, once the ruse was revealed, goes back to his original account to have the added pleasure of chastising everyone for daring to have hope in a previously unheard Queen concert.

For the newbies/people who are unaware:
* Fake links/gigs from Black King - just ignore
* Liverpool 1979 samples are legit
* Osaka 1976 is legit - just better sources

I've followed this thread since the beginning and was apprehensive since the first post where the poster knew about flac but couldn't spell it correctly and then asked about converting to mp3 (ha!)...All the stalling and empty posts and then finally a setlist that should have been a dead giveaway that it was a complete and utter sham. But, hey, one never knows, so I checked back in to see what transpired. Then I see a link posted...then the reactions of those who tried to download it.
All I can say is the original poster is a damn shmuck, an idiot, a sorry excuse for a human being. Obviously a Queen fan, but he should have his Queen card revoked.
When you've got something rare, you don't string people along...you maybe make a cryptic quip about having something...you tease a little for a day or two if you like, then you announce a true date and you follow through. But when you're a sap you get your jollies by watching people go ape shit over thin air and laugh and get giddy at the responses from people who are genuine fans, who really do take this stuff seriously.
One of these days there really will be something rare for us folks.
