I have a feeling that this may be your old pal aristide1 having a laugh, he was very quick to pronounce “Perfect opening. Nice moves. Mate in 3 for the Black King” on page 1 of this thread i.e. he has taken everyone in.

Also the Black King claims to be from the USA but, if you carefully read his posts, English does not appear to be his first language - just like aristide1. He certainly seems to have some sort of "axe to grind" against Queenzone.

Of course, I will be happy to be proved wrong…

It's a shame stuff like this happens. I used to frequent this board back in the early 2000s and left when it was getting like this. I was pressured to come back since the general attitude towards recordings improved. It's a shame you get posts like this. I was planning on maybe sharing something from my private archives but nervous due to stuff going on.

Yeah, like I said, it's a shame that it's like this now. There are still a few good people here. It's just a pity that for every Real Wizard and Chief Mouse, there's a Real Dickhead and a Mickey Mouse..

Come on, this chap says he is new, but states very explicitly dates of concerts that have not been seen or heard about previousl. And spends 2 days pretending he can't upload? The guy is a complete tool. We spent weeks on Sunbury 10 years ago. Dont go through it again.

I'm confused. So this Black King guy posts a bunch of info about shows - then a circus happens. In this thread - there's been a few new users that joined to comment. One has posted snippets of some random 1979 show. I have no idea who to believe anymore and what's going on!

Thanks for the private messages. The info I received (from another collector) was that the sample is from Blackpool 1979. I'll see if I can get more up later.

hi Nitroboy. The collector (Mr. Smith) said that he's sure it's from Blackpool. he got the tape from somebody else that saw the band a few times. He says the date is from the 16th or 17th of December.
