Wow, these are fantastic. Raw versions/early versions keep them coming. I'm on cloud 9

Love Freddie’s more aggressive and emotive delivery on WWRY.

Those saying there’s not much difference in fully alternative vocal takes really aren’t even aware of what they’re listening to when they listen regularly to the original released versions do they?!!

I am not negative about open the vaults but on queenonline has bern mentioned that every track has alternative lyrics and guitar solos. Very little changes has been noticable. Okay some extra guitar can be heard[/QUOTE]

Marketing always has a bit of hyperbole. Some tracks will have different vocal takes or lyrics, some will have different guitars, some will have both.

If your first instinct from hearing these was negativity, then you really need to give your head a shake. Dipping into a band's archive really doesn't get much better than this.

Yes and yes.

When the companion discs for the Zeppelin albums came out a couple years back, there was not a single peep of squabble on the Zeppelin forums. Just pages upon pages of people dissecting every minute detail and marvelling in the overall significance of what they were hearing. Why are some Queen fans different?

Indeed, they are comps - and they are still magnificent. Freddie Mercury's outtakes are still better than most singers' final takes. He was just so unbelievably good.

Brian's lick @ 3:44 of Champions is gorgeous. That is what focus and a penchant for melody sounds like.
