"Coming full circle, this film is bookended by footage shot in the summer of 2017 as Brian May and Roger Taylor took Queen back to the US with Adam Lambert as lead singer. Revisiting many of the cities they had performed in 40 years previously and including many of the songs from that 1977 album, they prove that despite the tragic loss of Freddie Mercury over 25 years ago, Queen can still rock the world."
So they have tons of fims from 1977, but they only give us 1 hour of documentary that even includes minutes of current Q+AL, instead of more footage from the period of the album :(

You should at least be happy this will be an HD broadcast, it's only a DVD listed in the box set release. Forget the legacy, it's gone.

Mixing legendary Queen stuff from 1977 with Q+AL shots from 2017 is a fooking sacrilege.
I hope, it's a tv edit and nothing from this sh1t is on the DVD.

Since the legacy is now null and void, it's possibly the same edit.

Have to agree with this. I know people keep saying "it's their band etc" and i get that...but why tack on this sh.....oh....right. ..THE TOUR.
Hopefully it's not featured on the DVD

At this point it seems like their strategy is to start mixing mentions to "Queen+" with mentions to "Queen" to a point where the only existing name will be Queen, referring to past or new performances and releases. I don't mind and I think it is wise as a business strategy. This is just an assumption, of course.

Interesting - there may be 1977 stuff in this documentary that isn't on the DVD version. They could be entirely different things for all we know.

The Doc that was shown at Freddies party in sept was introduced as "here is a version of the documentry" So i guess there will be selected stuff on the DVD and TV versions. But the DVD did show Brian and Roger in the US 2017.

It reminds me of Brian's movie idea I.e Brian and Roger as a working band etc after Freddie passing away, is this a way for May to get in current footage with the old to show there still going strong without Freddie? Since his movie idea was heavily criticized?
There should be a two hour documentary from 77 at least.

You really think they went that extra mile and put in the effort to do that? You're very optimistic!

Considering the "luck" we've been having with HD broadcasts from the latest documentaries from UK free TV, no one from Queenzone lives in the UK to be able to record and share with us. We'll have to wait untill it's shared on other sites.
