Well it would be nice to tune in for streaming and hear if they brought back SYW, IL and maybe other tracks so we can learn if the whole point of commemorating the 40th anniversary of the News of The World is less controversial.

No big surprises this evening. TYMD back in (thumbs up) and an Adam solo song - WWFM (meh but whatever; it's better than TF).

But Adam messing up the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody six years into the collaboration? Inexcusable. He's very good, but that's a rookie mistake and he knows it, and so should all of his diehard fans.

Something Freddie never did with any of their songs, of course!

Well of course Freddie messed things up. But this is a different ball game. Adam is a singer who has established himself as one of only two frontmen for a Queen collaboration. As such, the standard is set high; he should know the songs inside and out. Certainly the band's most famous song should be no exception. Of course, little time for rehearsals could have contributed to this. However, to legitimize failings so far into his role is preposterous and a waste of your time and mine. The "live and dangerous" aspect Brian prides himself and the group on is commendable, but not when it leads to errors as pitiful as this.

Maybe there was a good reason to give Freddie that second verse all these years.
