Freddie knew most of the outfits he wore were tongue in cheek but Lambert actually is serious about his ridiculous dress sense.

Would love to know what you're basing the opinion Adam is serious about his dress sense on?

Just look at the guy-he is a joke

It's not meant to be taken seriously, Adam refers to himself as ridiculous.

Well at least he recognizes it that he is ridiculous as Queen frontman. I cannot see this in his performances though.

I said ridiculous in the sense of what he wears, and how he acts as in a fun, camp, over the top, not to be taken seriously ridiculous, not his singing or performance, he takes those seriously. And before you say it, yes we know you don't like it, but lots do.

His singing is ridiculous and he hardly puts any effort into his performances but the thing is those world stages are just too big for Lambert.
He is more suited to theatres.

happy star said, "but Lambert actually is serious about his ridiculous dress sense." Happy Star, and you know that because ..... you are an avid fan? Can read Adam's mind? Follow what he wears to all events? Rockchic is spot on. Adam loves to play "dress-up" in the same way that Gaga wore a meat dress. As far as taste in real life, has been voted "Best Dressed" many times.

happystar Like his singing or not, no one could say he doesn't put effort into his performance. The one thing he's always been known for is giving 110% always. He might not run around like Freddie, he has a different way of performing, but he always gives it everything. How many people will sing with a migraine for two hours.

I don't think Adam has worn anything more out there than some of Freddie's outfits! WoW, pot calling kettle black. Actually Adam has quite a fashion sense. Most of his clothes are on the runway and very current and quite expensive, although you see him recycling things from years past. He seems to be extravagant, while also being frugal. It is not, I will wear it once and it is discarded like so many stars. I think that is wonderful. For me Freddies's garb was much more out there and really out there considering the time period! Who know what he might wear in 2018. I bet it would be much more flamboyant than anything Adam has chosen to wear.

Don't forget Freddie can't be discussed here...unless it suits your argument, I suppose. Then it's ok for you to discuss him.
At least Freddie was original. AL really isn't.

How you can determine what is original and what is not, just boggles my mind! In some regards there is nothing original as fashions, music, art go around and then come around again. I am not arguing by the way. You are all about arguing and winning, when that is not the point at all. Discussing does not have to be win or lose. And I bet Freddie might really like some of Adam's outfits. They are always different and fun!! Been a few losers along the way, but in general he looks good. I really think he has influenced Brian since they often match. Love that!

How can I determine what is orginal or not? Really you have to ask?
Are you speaking what Freddie would like now? It's clear to any fan his fashion changed so much through the years. What he liked at one time, he might have not liked at another point. He said in his later years he couldn't imagine wearing some of what he wore earlier in his career.
You are something else. One day you rant about some who dare mention Freddie, a couple of days later you bring him up because you think/hope it makes what you say more valid.
As for AL, sure there has been hits and misses fashion wise. Goes for everyone. But I don't think he is as orginal as you do. His guyliner isn't orginal, nor is his his black fingernails, Freddie did that decades before AL ever did.
