Would you folks consider Adam Lambert a "rock star"?

I think in Singapore they protested. That was ONE place and they are notoriously anti-gay. That is an outlier and you can't use that as proof that people protest routinely. That is crap. The only thing I am going to say is if you con't think Freddie's prancing around in his onesies was anything but Effeminate than you just can't see what is in front of you. I bet if he were singing now, when homosexuality is much less of a probem, he would equal or outdo Adam. People LOVE the pink suit, the bicycle, the couch and they play that up. It is whimsical and lots of fun. Adam doesn't run around like that in real life. He is actually a fshionista and always looks impeccable. This person during that one section of the show is theater, nothing else!

Snifflese I know they protested a solo concert of Adam's, didn't know there'd ever been protests about the QAL thing. I agree Freddie would probably push the envelope a lot further in these times, he'd have fun with it albeit in a different way.

Adam's everyday look is pretty normal and low key, more glam when he's going to an event but by his own admission, clothes are a real passion of his and like he told Simon "I love to play dress up". I think once you see behind the act to the real person it becomes obvious he's just playing, having fun and want's the audience to come along for the ride. I've seen loads of comments on facebook loving the bike, the pink suit, the silly things he does etc. I think they connect with him because he's not pretending to be anything he's not, although I can see how a bit of a video taken out of context might look the opposite.

Don't know if you saw his live instagram the other day but he said he makes loads of fashion mistakes and often sees himself in a show or at a red carpet event and thinks, "what the hell was I thinking".

You are right about it being Adam's show! I also don't believe anything of that nature happened when he was playing with Brian and Roger!!

Nope, I'm not obsessed about Freddie. Do you see me plastering both boards with tweets, articles, pics, etc about him? You couldn't if you tried, it's simply not there.

You have turned plenty ugly in what you said about me, even saying I posted about what I experienced regarding homophobia was seeing attention. Then you don't care what Freddie went through with the tabloids, because Q+AL gets rave reviews thse days from the tabloids because of AL's voice. You are something else.

BWBW - I'm sure he did but Freddie is busy right now.

The first song is okay. Lambert's vocals are good. The second song is terrible -- like a Foreigner b-side -- and it's sung poorly. Great singers can make weak songs sound good.

Holly They were unfinished demo tracks from before Idol, and the record company released them anyway.

Holly - rockchic was right. The release of this unauthorized album caused the breakup of Adam's long-time friendship and the firing of his then lead guitarist Monte Pittman.
