What kind of a name is Cade? It sounds like a colour God came up with on the 3rd day, then rejected in favour of something less clumsy.
Anyway, I googled him and listened to his version of Simple man, which really sucks. The acoustic Shinedown cover is much better. Brent Smith has a powerful voice, and is in control of it. And of course he sounds nice too, which is always useful if you've chosen singing as a career :p

I've not bothered to watch American Idol. But sadly, those original and even those covers songs will go over sweetcaroline's head. AL isn't singing them, you see ;-).
According to some random internet site, cade is some kind of middle eastern bush. All well and good except it's an odd forename. Without googling him, and with a name like that, I'd be willing to bet he's American. When I was in the US I was introduced to a girl called "Lark", and it took all my willpower not to laugh.
