Would you folks consider Adam Lambert a "rock star"?

Sooo, Mr. Runner, who do YOU think should be touring with B & R instead of Adam?

Who is the current “rock star” who could have been a better frontman — voice, charisma, range, energy, excitement?

Soto, Cherone, Martel etc. All better than the annoying fake twat. BTW I think Maylor should tour on their own in intimate places playing deep cuts instead of making a laughing stock out of themselves with Lamebutt

Martel has a great voice if your looking for a Freddie sound alike, but that's not what they want or need he also is not that animated and I believe would appear out of his depth in an arena setting.

Cherone wasn't excepted by the Van Halen masses, not sure if he would have worked in Queen despite what Extreme did at the Freddie tribute, I think he's a guy who is loved by Extreme's diminishing fan base, but few others.
Jef Scott Soto, is friends with Mr Taylor, almost replaced Rodgers mid way through a tour and is a huge fan of the band's music. He did a great Queen set with his band a few years ago. He would be my choice.

Lambert got the role by chance and Brisn and Roger seem very happy with the guy they've got. And although you don't like him many do, so maybe your view doesn't matter.

Agree with all that and if they hadn't gone with Adam my choice would be JSS, loved his Queen set, he doesn't have the super high range but he made the songs work for him. He's a massive Queen fan, I've always wondered why they didn't get him to tour with them.

“Taping is over! Adam perfotmed 1 song. Blue suede shoes. Blue suit, blue floral shirt, and of course blue suede shoes.. of course he looked AMAZING! of all the performers from both nights he’s the only 1 that got a standing ovation (besides post Malone & Shawn Mendes)”

“Oh and his hair wasn’t parted down the middle.. it was Elvis-y. Like the Another Lonely Night video. They said the special airs January 9th.. guessing on NBC since it was shot at the same studio as The Voice”

Wow, over at QOL the usual suspects are already bitching about Rami and the biopic movie just like they have done about Adam for 6 years.

I guess Freddie was so perfect, no one is allowed to portray him or sing his music.

I would say he was unique as is everyone and it is impossible to capture that essence completely. No one can ever be Elvis or Madonna or Michael or Beyoncé or Bowie, etc so no one can be Freddie!

“Executive Producer @grammyken with @adamlambert who once again proved last night he is one of the most thrilling rock vocalists anywhere. Don’t miss Adam’s very rocking performance when it airs on NBC.”
