Thanks a lot for the link and to the taper, of course! Spread Your Wings is just fantastic! I'll get back to this when time allows it.
Cheers,

It's so great to hear another new recording of a never shared show. This is what a music soul needs for the nights in these days of autumn rain and grey.
A good year for Queen fans, no doubt.
Kind regards,
W.

It really has been. The best year for new Queen tapes since 2009. I can actually do a Baker's Dozen thread this year.

Paul has replied to me, so I've sent him links to this website.
Hopefully he will sign up and post his lossless versions :)[/QUOTE]
So, will the lossless version be posted soon, or this is the best what we can have?

Who knows.
I'm not going to be pushy with the guy, but if we've heard nothing in the next two weeks I'll get back in touch.

Really REALLY enjoyed this show. Absolutely PACKED COCK FULL of energy. Thanks to the taper and for making it available; MOTBQ sounds even more immediate than the studio version.

The taper also says he had recorded the Providence 1977 show on his website! Imagine if he shared that.

I don't think he recorded those shows himself but he may have recordings in his collection.
This taper is also friends with Lampinski... Let's hope those 77 do indeed exist and were also captured by a hi fi taper like Paul and Dan Lampinski! The setlists on his website for those shows seem likely to be correct so here's hoping...
