Sorry Thor I want your book to get picked up that's why I have to say no to the idea of fans pitching to publishers. My brother in law worked for one in California and he said the most annoying thing writers would do is have friends or family call and pitch to them. He said half the time it meant they wouldn't even look at the book before tossing it in the "no" pile. He said "it comes off as desperate and forced and nobody wants to back a desperate book". You were probably joking about that anyway but just in case anyone took it seriously and stating shooting off emails to publishers they find on google Haha. No Freddie's name is big enough on it's own to gather attention. Let's hope one picks it up but if not self publishing is the way to go. I heard some rumors on Facebook about this being a scam and I shut it down pretty quick but people on there were taking issue with the money sitting this long. They felt it's already been long enough but I think the April date is fair.

Oops, I withdraw this thought. Thank's Dustin for the info.
I can give him a call tomorrow and see if he has any tips if you'd like? I'll get back to you later with his advice.
Great Dustin, I would appreciate that very much.
Dustin, check your PM when you get a chance. No rush.
Hi I`m reposting this question as fear it may have got lost in the requests for Thor and Lee to participate n a live chat and those very odd long post which seemed to be an advert for something from Chipsotov ! And I`d love it if Thor could answer it, so I`m copy and pasting it again. :O)..............................................
Hey Thor, as a medical professional do you happen to know what blood type our lovely Freddie was?
I ask this as I am a long time blood donor (since I was 18) and have almost 200 donations to my name (I was a platelet apheresis donor for a long time, too so I gave once a month , and even fortnightly during the gulf war crisis) so it's a bit of interest for me. I wonder even if maybe Freddie ever maybe (a tiny maybe!) received a unit of my blood.
I encourage everyone who CAN to give blood it's such a simple , easy way to give a little back to the world.
BTW it was me who made that Magic Tour "frock" for my lovely faux Freddie doll. He gets a kiss every night and every morning. :-) Love him to bits.

Ha Ha FreddieDarling,,
Please forgive me for forgetting who made that captivating doll. And as I said...the outfit you made for your doll IS my absolute FAVORITE (or should I say FAVOURITE) of all of Freddie's outfits.
Well, Freddie never had a reason to tell me what his blood type was...LOL..maybe only Mary knows for sure.
He seems to be an O negative to me ...the Universal donor type. That would surely fit his personality!

Also Freddiedarling,
I could never donate blood because I had hepatitis B in 1974. BUT, I was able to donate my blood for the early work on development of the Hepatitis B vaccine. I'm pretty proud of that!

Sweetandtenderhooligan,
I said the same thing a a few pages back regarding Freddie and aging. He had magnificent bone structure and beautiful skin and was getting more handsome as he got older. Peter Freestone mentioned that when he died, Freddie still did not have a single grey hair, even though his hair was thinning a bit. He was aging beautifully before his illness.

Thor and Lee did either of you go to a bookstore, find a similar book to what you want to make and see who published it? I’m still backing whatever you do, if it takes so long for publishers to get back then we’ll just have to wait.
Not necessary Anniebee, you can find all that info by googling "Coffee Table Books"
Lady Gaga's performance on the Oscar's was absolutely phenomenal.......it left me Gobsmacked!!! She totally puts ALL she Has into her performance.....Just like Freddie! As a matter of fact, when I had first heard of her a few years back.....i immediately was intrigued when I learned how she came by her name!! I can soooo picture in my mind....Lady Gaga and Freddie doing a collaboration or two Together!!!! Am I the only one to imagine this?????
It looks like my long post yesterday was eaten by the bot. GRRRR
Anyway, I will catch up, and Thor and Lee I hope you can get that book out! We will chip in!
I have been a fan of Queen since 10 years old with their first hits. So they were around even after I finished college.
I have never really paid attention to FM's teeth. I had a pic of him taped to my wall along with some other Teen Beat idols. I had to get it out of a magazine and I cut the rest of the band out! (I was just a kid lol)
As an adult, I appreciate the physical variations we all have. I am no dentist or ear, nose and throat specialist, but he may have had to have his jaw broken and reset or something along with dental work. I have a friend with the same issue and that's what she was told. She left it alone, too.
I believe that if FM didn't have such a wide mouth, he would never have been able to project so far, it almost seems like in a stadium he didn't even need the mic. Who else could sing over BM's ear-splitting guitar and still be heard loud and clear?
I maintain that this was the most talented, handsome and sexy man neck and neck with Prince, IMO. Clearly Prince didn't want to be 5'2'' either!

Your English is perfect!
In regards to looking at old photos: I think many of us have experienced seeing pictures from an earlier time in our lives and wondered where all the years had gone to... or we were struck by how much we had changed. As for me...I see younger photos and think, "I really should have worn sunscreen!" LOL
But like Thor said, "how precious and lucky" we are to be here right now. Thor, any special plans for your birthday?

That's awesome you could donate your blood for that research. They now have a cure for hepatitis c never thought that would happen.I hope some day they will have a cure for my disease it is very rare 2 in 100 thousand people get it so the only treatment is ivig therapy which is time consuming.
