Can we discuss earlier?
This place used to be great, but now it is an absolute joke. For serious Queen discussion, please visit http://www.queenforum.net

Actually, no. We have a good reason not to start until Dec. 10th. Sorry friend.

No worries mate. Look forward to it.

Could we have a concise appendix thread of facts found in the other thread? It's a little to large for a browse.

Looking forward to it Thor and Lee!

PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE

They're probably trying to decide on the best conjunction:

Thorlee (sounds like an adjective)
Leethor (Lex Leethor)
Arnolin (sounds like a cleaning solution)
Nolinnold (sounds like a factory additive/preservative/paint remover)

Joking aside. Thank you two for offering to participate in this. Said beforehand.

Whats the use of all this?

Not too sure Freddie would've appreciated a bunch of gossiping 'friends' talking about his life on a Queen fan forum.

people on streets,
Sorry you are so bitter about a site that has not yet started. I hope you can get a lot more love and caring from those important to you. I do
and I feel great!

@People on the streets
Well, you didn't know Freddie. Thor and Lee did. And gossip isn't what they're doing. They're stating facts. Which is miles better than flipping through pages of bullshit made up by tabloids. Relax and give it a chance, friend. Or don't. Either way, we'll be here enjoying it.

Thank you Thundergod and all who made the other thread such an enlightening and encouraging place to read and taking part in. Looking forward to more.

@ People on Streets,

It may be that your comment is due to a concern over the accuracy of information being exchanged on this thread. If so, then I appreciate that you care. However, when I hear the word "gossip", I think of something that is disrespectful...gossipers don't care about facts and they often do not care about the subject of their gossip...they care about the attention their words generate. It seems that the majority of people who have been drawn to this thread are here to honor not only Freddie's music, but the person he was outside of music. If this thread had a "National Inquirer" tone to it, then I bet most people would not be interested in participating. I'd like to think that Freddie is smiling in amazement that his fans, old and new, are still interested in his life, and that his good friends, Thor (and soon Lee) are taking time to honor that legacy by keeping it real.

I respect that you are probably trying to protect Freddie, but why don't we give this a chance? It's not started yet...

I think Villiers hit the nail bang on, this is going to be more respectful and a better tribute than the rubbish in the tabloids. :-)

Just thought I'd share this bit of info. As you'd referenced in the other thread, Freddie was a fan of the film THE WOMEN.

Well. This place i always go to; The Egyptian Theater in Hollyweird is screening it on January 28th along with a prior presentation about historical Hollywood.

Their screenings typically use original prints or restored prints; from the best available sources. They screen both classics and ludicrous cult flicks/trash. Very often with guest stars, directors Q&A and/or discussions

Some belong to directors, some belong to historical libraries etc. ...tickets go on sale next Monday, and as it's a VERY prominent popular film for a certain bunch I'm guessing the early sales are in anticipation of high ticket demands.

Just trolling ur thread again, apologies. :)

Carry on...

Speaking of CARRY ON. ...i enjoy those silly trashy flicks. Think I'll watch one.
