My 1st reply was responding to someone who spoke derogatory of Freddie stating Freddie treated his audience with disrespect as well as well, but more relating to Freddie calling a Mexican audience a bunch of tacos.

Well, since I didn’t know how to post a reply to his somewhere back like page 45 or so, my response ended up on page 153 unconnected to anything, so it meant nothing without reading what he wrote.

I totally understand after what the audience DID to Queen, why Freddie and Queen never went back to Mexico.

Not even Queen + AL will go.

@Lspg03, the audio outtake was hysterical. Freddie's laughter was so infectious. He sounded so young. I lost track of all the F-bombs. He drops them so eloquently, doesn't he? LOL

Thor, welcome back! It's hard to leave NY, isn't it? I pray your bro beats the cancer. It's all about the people we love in the world, our family and friends, isn't it?

@Lsgp03, sorry, I spelled your name wrong.

Welcome to QZ, Orangejuice and Black Queen's Kid!

Hi Thor,

Sounds like your brother has a great support system. Family (in whatever way a person defines that) is so important to the healing process. Continued best wishes for your big brother.

So, did your family have a birthday celebration for you even though you didn't want one? I think it's great that they are newly awakened Freddie/Queen fans. They must be so excited about your book. Is there anything in particular they seem most curious about in regards to Freddie? Have they asked a lot of questions about the movie? By the way, has anyone in your family met Lee?

Oops...you just got back and I am already whipping off the questions...just take your pick!

Katydyd5,

I am the oldest of three...and your description of a "typical first born-rule follower" growing up described me to a tee!

Lsgp, I did listen to your link. I actually have that one in my files and consider it a gem. Even though it is only audio I can totally picture what was going on, and Freddie is having so much fun that it is infectious. Brian has often said it is hard to quote Freddie without the F bomb, and this audio supports that.

Thanks also for explaining your first post about Mexico. Now I understand what you were saying. When it first appeared it was like, "What???????????". I hoped you'd come back and tell us where you were going with it.

Thor I'm so happy to hear about your brother. I'm sending my well wishes.

We are also so happy to have you back! How is Lee?

For those of you who buy into astrology Mercury is direct at the moment. What does that mean? When Mercury stations direct it is strongest of all in its energy and potency. Mercury is known as the planet of communication and the ruler of both Virgo and Gemini zodiac signs. I'm a Gemini (June 17). Our beloved Freddie was a Virgo. Communicate away my friends. The stars command it!

Welcome back Thor! Your trip sounds like it was amazing.
