I think I'll be doing what Shaun did and bow out for good until Thor and Lee can find a better way to hold a forum that will allow us to to remove trolls. I'm too old for this.

Freddie never had a condition where he couldn't hold his bowels. What an odd thing to say about someone in an attempt to defame or troll. It looks like this thread keeps feeding into the trolls and giving them exactly what they want. So don't be surprised that they keep coming back. Ignoring them also wont work here as they get a kick out of ruining the thread by leaving comments like that that cant be deleted and will be seen by potential publishers. At this point this thread may be doing more harm than good thanks to these accounts. Thor, just coming from someone looking from the outside in, it's probably time to wrap this thread up and start a Facebook group that is closed to the public so you can govern who is let in and who is removed. It also keeps all stories and comments off limits to those you do not trust. Zero chances of trolls adding to the mix.

Doughnut—Thanksgiving is also known in my house as turkey day. It’s a celebration of the harvest. You have a big meal, and certain vegetables that are harvested in the fall are traditional. It’s also a day when families get together, for better or for worse! I’m a Canadian expat living in the US, and although we have Thanksgiving in Canada, it’s not as big a deal. But I’ve come to embrace the more elaborate celebration here. The holiday has Native American roots as I understand it. But I’m not knowledgeable about that.

I think a facebook group controlled by Thor/lee is a good idea. As Villiers said you can control who is in the group and therefore it will be a safe place to chat.

chevyman it's social media, it doesn't just happen here. It's a massive problem nowadays.
I know that there are some teachers here so they may agree as it is one of the biggest problems schools now face as a lot of bullying goes on via social media. In the UK there have been teen suicides because of it. It is awful.
Bullies like to hide behind the keyboard!!
