Blenko- I,too, want to thank everyone for accepting those like myself who may not have much of anything to contribute- but sure love sharing our common interest in Freddie.
It is very difficult to have conversations with family and friends about Freddie without them thinking I've lost my mind:)
And also thanks to Thor and Lee who have also welcomed all- well most:)

Blenko, thanks so much for the kind words! You are exactly right, this is a good place to come and talk about Freddie. Before I found this thread I was actually rationing how much Freddie I could insert into a conversation with friends so that I didn't have to watch their eyes glossing over. Thanks to you all, they have been spared, though I do still bring him up once in a while.

Blenko - 3 cheers to your comment!!! This is an amazing group of people - and full agreement on Mika's wonderful contributions!! Loved the translated German show. I had seen that before a couple times and was always frustrated that I couldn't understand.
This thread has also been a HUGE much needed escape for me. It been for me a very challenging year - so to come here and indulge in all that is Freddie, Thor, Lee, and Shaun has truly been an oasis for me.

Thank you so much for your sweet words but I did nothing special :) Maybe I should slow down a bit before I start to be annoying.
I was so lonely with my love for Freddie and Queen, enjoying music and books and wishing there would be someone I could share my love with :-) And then I discovered this forum and decided to get over my fear of writing in English and contribute a little bit. But I found out newbies opinions are not very welcomed here and I also appeared during BoRhap movie hysteria when everyone new was considered as a movie fan. So I stayed quiet. It was all of you and this absolute unusual friendly atmosphere here who encouraged me to write, you gave me such a nice welcome and it was only the beginning. Thank you so much that you allowed me to join you.
Freddie and his music is my escapism too, I survived my teenage years because of him and he continues to make my life better every day. And now you make my life better because I can talk about my favourite topic and it's never too much :)

....do you know what is Really sad.....Freddie thought his music was disposable. Eat it up....then move on! I truly think he would be so genuinely tickled to know his music, his story, his life......were Anything but that! Inspirational, healing, therapeutic, universal and uniting as well as timeless is what it proves to be.....generation after generation! BOY! What a gift!! We are so blessed! It is true that when we all keep sharing, we keep Freddie alive! So keep sharing people!!.......Happy Sunday :)
