I learned Spanish and Latin and dont remember any of it.

Okay, all yeah, that was the "bigger the better" interview where he talks about only learning cuss words. @Thor if you know German so well why didn't Freddie invite you out to Munich? @Chevy yeah he and Winnie basically used Barbara Valentin as translator since neither of them was willing to speak the other's language. I took German in high school and college and got straight A's but it's been a while and if you don't use it you lose it. Yes, Thor you are right about that man you were referring to. When is this book coming out? I've heard the rumors but no actual news about it.
If he's smart he will put it in English as well as other languages because Freddie is popular all over the world in many different countries. If he really wants his book to get out there he would put it in many different languages. Though the only one I needed a translator and dictionary English to better English dictionary was for Peter Freestone's book. Man he uses big words and I use big words, so you know those were like ACT SAT words. Thor knows what those are. Amanuensis and indubitably (I know the second) were used in the same sentence lol if that tells you anything. I had my dictionary out for sure. I know what amanuensis means now so he did educate me but dang Pheebs! LOL

Freddie was living a completely different lifestyle in Munich than he was in New York. Remember....Freddie liked to live in the" present" which was our experience in New York. We assumed he was living in the present in Munich. We did stay in touch with birthday cards and occasional phone calls. Once he left Germany, he longed to rekindle close friendships that were important to him prior to 1985.

Perk, Barbara said she had a relationship of some kind with Freddie and I really say some Kind in not a very nice way.I know it was lies told by that lady Leslieann Jones.She put stuff all over her fb about it after biopic came out.I pretty much messaged her and she deleted her comments and blocked me on fb and messenger what does that tell you.I dont know why she had the need to lie.Shy also said David Bowie let her stay at his house why she did work on his biograghy.He left her there alone in his home for weeks supposedly who is gonna do that I dont think so.

When you know German and some of its variants it´s fascinating to listen to Yiddish speakers- Yiddish has a lot of German elements. If you know some West and South German dialects, you easily understand Pennsylvania Dutch.

Steven, my dad's side of the family are Mennonites. Most of them are gone now, but many spoke German while they were here. All of the headstones in the old churchyard are in German, or perhaps the PA Dutch version. I even went to a funeral of a great aunt when I was young and the service was in German. With that background you'd think I'd know a little, but sorry to say, not a word.
