Dustin pro bono means the lawyer is free, not the time of the judge and court costs for time, which would still be paid. That's what they mean. However, as Dustin said- it probably wouldn't even get to a judge (-would almost certainly be settled out of court). As someone in the legal field I can tell you having a party claim you're running a money based scam is no joke. It's not about wasting time or money. It's very much illegal to do and believe it or not can be punishable by heavy fees or time away. It wouldn't cost Thor or Lee anything to press charges should they choose to. Ultimately, doing anything would be up to them, but defamation of character and these claims is not something to take lightly. Not when money is involved. It's way more than a trolling situation, legally.
Inform QPL of a book they already know about? Yeah I'm sure that'll get you far. And they aren't copyrighted by anyone but Lee. Lee took them. Lee owns them. Freddie never owned them and they are under no legal umbrella of Freddie's estate or QPL. You really screwed the pooch here, run. Hate to be you right now.
Funny. He threatened to sue Thor and Lee and second ago and now hes claiming them suing him is a giant waste of money and would be stupid. Well it won't cost Thor or Lee a dime to sue you, friend. That's pro-bono for ya. You also wont waste a judges time either. The guy we sued 2 years ago for DC against my dad settled out of court within days and didn't cost us a penny. Not a pretty place to be, where you're standing.

I agree I think Rami is coming around. The photos that came out before the official stuff was released didn't impress me at all but it's tightening up. The guy that plays Brian is Gwilym Lee. He has the right build for it alright.

LEE owns the photos and can do what he wants with HIS property. Why should Lee never release his photos because they include a person who has passed away? Yes he was private when he was alive, but he is not and therefore cannot be upset at them being revealed. They're just photos of him having fun with friends, it's nothing controversial.
Why should these living men not share their past and photos with us just because Freddie was a part of it? It's their story too and they're fully entitled to do so. Not sure what the problem is.

At least i am not the onky one who finds it shameful to cash in on your dead friend. The GFM auction stopped at 1700 Dollars. Surely they expected more thats why they changed their sound from being humble to openly insult critics. This book will never find a Publisher believe me.....some firms still have dignity left
