The reason for people being challenged when they are rude is just that, they are rude.
Anything can be challenged respectfully, but no one here who's challenged stuff has done it respectfully. They've just attacked other people.
If anyone had questions about Thor or Lee's motives it could have been respectfully asked, instead of the rubbish that has been posted which has led to him pretty much staying away. He didn't leave. I remember he was chatting on here once on some pretty informal stuff, and about what he'd been watching on tv. He was happy to be friendly, but there are always trolls to come along and try to spoil it. They are not skilled or sophisticated enough to ask a challenging question in a respectful way and allow Thor to answer, they just get a kick out of trying to tear people down. It makes them feel better about themselves.

Trying to feel better about themselves is SO important to them that they continue commenting on a forum that is ultimately going to promote the book that they claim to disagree with. But that's not the primary motivation is it? It's not all altruism and morals. All I see are one or two people who just want to argue and try to tear people down because they get off on it.
... and they get off on the UNWARRANTED attention from the the sorry last 8 pages of this topic (including a pointless threatened lawsuit).
Yeah they totally should've just been ignored when they illegally claimed old dude was scamming cash. Why bother pressing charges when you could just ignore them and let them tear apart someone's reputation and let them tell everyone their money was stolen. Makes seeeeeense. Too bad I didn't see that sooner....DANG IIIIT.
They're going to make the book or they won't. Whatever happens happens. Who. Cares. ? In the meantime I think I'll just hang back and enjoy the breeze. Dang-gone it.
