Hello to all the good and positive folks on QZ.
We got our first, fully positive response from one of our desired sources to whom we offered our query,
summary and proposal for the book last August. More work is required, of course, for any final approval.
I will keep you informed as the process progresses.

I am very excited at the prospect of this book! How lovely to see photos and read anecdotes about the fun times our Freddie spent with his good pals! Thank you both!
I'm also looking forward to the biography that will HOPEFULLY materialize about Peter "Phoebe's Freestone! Two books I will definitely buy!
Reading back over the old thread! Couldn't believe the underarm hair question! Dear me! Nothing wrong with a bit of hair! Freddie always seemed supremely clean and hygienic to me! To be it seems odd for men to shave anything other than their face. All this man-scaping nowadays! I don't know! Anyway, it seemed a rather crass question and not worthy of your time!

Thor, I'm so pleased to see your positive post about the book. The film and publicity for it is going to generate a huge surge of interest for Freddie and Queen and it will be lovely to have new material like your book. I have so many friends who are planning to see the film just based on the trailers, not because they were huge Queen fans before. Sales of everything Freddie are going to explode. You know we are all eager to hear any news that you have my friend.

Lee and I have plans for a Facebook page where trolls can't bother us anymore.
This was an idea passed on to me by a very supportive QZ fan of Queen and
Freddie.
Another supportive QZ fan has volunteered to build and coordinate this Facebook
site for Lee and myself. We are not yet sure when it will be up and running yet.
Right now, we both have a lot of polishing-up to do of our entire manuscript to
present to our source.They are pretty strict in what they require. Until we have a
signed contract to publish our book, the GoFundMe goal of $2000.00 will remain
the same. With the impact of "Bohemian Rhapsody", there may be increased
interest in donating - and we want to stay positive - but should anything go wrong
(God forbid), we want to stay within our means required to refund donors in full
and pay-back the 10% already removed by GoFundMe for the use of their site.
As always, thank you mostly all, for your continued support and well wishes about
this project. It was started by your kind and thoughtful responses when I entered
QZ in the early summer of 2017 by accident, to answer a wrongly informed QZ
thread which claimed that I was Freddie's lover and not just a good friend after I
googled my name. MattZ was the first to offer a response and wanted to know more.
He wanted proof that I was who I claimed to be, which I provided. That started the
ball rolling and soon the first thread became very popular and eventually led to
the creation of the book with it's sole purpose to show Freddie as more than a
Superstar and Rock Legend, but a caring, thoughtful, sincere, generous and
fun-loving very close friend that he was to Lee, sadly departed John, Joe S.and
myself. He really still is.
He shines a brightly burning light on our thoughts, gratitude, and tributes from
Lee, me and ALL of his loyal, loving fans and connoisseurs of musical genius
and showmanship!
Freddie has created his own immortality by remaining well-placed in the hearts
of all fans, well-wishers and close friends.
With grateful thanks and love to all,

I think a private FB page is an excellent idea. The only issue is that several of the very supportive people here are not on FB. I am and would love to participate. I'm part of two other private pages (political) and it's wonderful to be able to talk and share without trolls. If and when this page is up and running, perhaps those who aren't on FB will reconsider, if only for your page.
