I think it was the Chicago concert.
We got backstage.......we were always invited back before the cool down was done........we were family.....
Freddie says....KathLEEN ( which is how he said it), why aren't you eating.....?
I said....."I'm good....kinda want something warm........." OOOOMMMMGGG was THAT the wrong thing to say.
Began the tirade about there not being hot food. Mother's voice was raised and off it went.....
They were supposed to have hot food, but I was REALLY ok........
everyone froze.....
Brian, Roger, and John were WTF..............LOL
Off Freddie went on his rant
The next night?.......LOTS of hot food........................................and no one ate...............OUCH

Oh-oh I am back from jury duty...but exhausted!
This was my day, Up at 6:15am....parked at the trolley stop...rode the trolley to NEAR the courthouse. Walked 8 blocks to the
actual courthouse...patted down because I have a metal knee...entered the jury room and waited, waited, waited until my name
was called at 10:30AM...went to the assigned courtroom...waited, waited, waited...called in at 11:15am along with 49 others. Each
person was asked a set of printed questions...by # 18 it was lunch time. We were warned not to be late and be back at 1:30pm SHARP.
We waited and waited and the judge became available, 20 minutes late! being a smart aleck, I announced after we all were kept
waiting outside the courtroom in a loud voice. "Now I see why we were told to show up exactly on time." Many laughs. So they finished
interviewing the rest of the 49 possible jurors, it was time for a 15 minute (don't be late) break at 3:15pm. At 4:15pm we were admitted
back to the courtroom. 15 more minutes about the accused changing his plea from "not guilty" to "guilty" and we were dismissed!

Oh, and I meant to ask you if Freddie ever talked about his time in boarding school or his family? I once read about him changing the subject when people would bring it up. Also wondering what would have happened is someone dared to call him by his real name LOL.

I don't remember having a special Christmas Dinner, but I DO remember the gift exchange at the holidays. So much fun.......
We didn't need a reason to celebrate. Any get together was a celebration.
We would celebrate a "TUESDAY" were it to present itself.
Whenever a drink was poured we toasted.......Freddie always lead the toast.
We toasted life, toasted fun, toasted friendship.
