I'm sure Fripp will have a much better box for ITCOTCK than Queen will ever have. It'll probablly be even better than the 40th anniversary box :D
Indeed the 6 disc box does now seem like a fledgling attempt at a proper box. Hopefully Fripp has unearthed more live/studio material in the last 9 years and can give us a 20 disc job.

50th anniversary of Abbey Road as well. 2019 is shaping up to be a cracker.

An end to their countless shenanigans pulled throughout the years.

I hope they do a three anthology set like the beatles ranging from theearlys to A Day At The Races for the first one

Anthology 2 being News Of The World to Hot Space

and Anthology 3 being from the Works to No One But You or the Call

Best suggestion yet ...
Socialism: There's one for you, nineteen for me Should five per cent appear too small Be thankful I don't take it all

I'd love them to revisit bits and pieces of old unused songs...and make a 50 minute epic transitioning through them all. A bit like the Beatles Love album....but with just unused demos.

Nice idea but i don't think that would happen without Brian insisting on adding new guitar somewhere.

I'll say a final tour type of thing.....and why not a new record from Brian and Roger? People forget what great songwriters they are...Judas Priest are releasing a new album in March. Halford is 66 And Glen Tipton is 70. The last record May/Talyor did was TCR, that was released in 2005? In 13 years I would think Brian wrote at least a few good songs. Roger released a solo album, but I'm sure he has a few songs left in him.

Queen - The Videos Blu-ray including
-all music videos remastered & reassembled using the highest quality source available.
-outtakes
- commentaries ported from the DVDs
- remixed 7.1 audio

We know they already have HD transfers of the film elements from the bits we saw on the DOOL and Great Pretender Docs; it's just a matter of releasing it.
The current transfers on YouTube and DVD are dreadful.

Maybe they can even do a 4k UHD steelbook release for extra money as a gimmick. I would buy :)

Jesus, no. The "short promotional films" should be for each Super Deluxe Edition of each studio l.p. They should not be available in one set...sheesh.

Matt Z IS correct about the Transvestite editions AND he is allowed to talk about it without having to go somewhere else. As long as he at least pretends to be an adult. :) Otherwise "Live Killers" needs to be fixed because it is unprofeesional and sounds like it was recorded from outside of the building...a block down the street. Jesus. And no not the song. Yes a new studio l.p. with QUEEN + Adam Lambert with a proper long ass tour behind it. Every studio l.p. should eventually be made into Super Deluxe Editions that are hours full of goodies including instrumental jams and re-records as well as re-recordings with guest super stars! :) They should all be packaged like "The Solo Collection" by Freddie Mercury released in the year 2000. There should also be a straight up re-release of that box set before a new one is done a few years down the line. They should also release the secret cremation footage where it looks like Freddie is waving good-bye with the bonus features of the ashes being scattered where ever. PLUS bonus footage of his house being cleaned up and let's see what's some other crap. Oh! I know secret hidden footage of Brian and Roger having gay butt sex.

Any ideas of what Brian and Roger are planning for the new year.I would like to see a Live Killers Box Set including all the missing tracks and full versions of all the tracks. I can't see a tour ,but maybe an appearance at Glastonbury ! I don't really want to see the film now as I think its going to be really bad with all the problems it has had.Happy Christmas to you all and may 2018 be a good year for us all.
LIVE KILLERS had an undeserved bad reception from the very beginning, long before discussions about "missing tracks", "incomplete versions" and "unprofessional sound".
It was a most superficial and mean evaluation done by people with a large spectrum of disappointments, and clearly with different aspirations, musical or otherwise: the band was not going in the right direction, the legend started to fade, the sexual issue became annoying, the new musical landscape of the imminent 80s etc.
It's strange how people who were not even born by that time have the same complains today. Or not that strange, if you consider the human nature does not change.

As a real fan, I stick to my good impression from 1979. And I don't subscribe to the notion of "omitted tracks", as appears in wikipedia entry, because it intentionally suggests failure, neglect, or one of the "countless shenanigans pulled throughout the years".

They defiantly omitted tracks because the running time on vinyl wouldn't allow the full set to be presented.

There is no denying that songs were played on the Jazz tour that are not on the album. The production is all over the place, ranging from lively, hectic full of concert hall ambience down to close mic'd almost studio sounding bits.

The edits and audience fade outs spoil the continuity and the re jigged running order of some of it sounds odd if you attended any of those shows. I don't dislike the album and the bits that capture the excitement of the gig are great but I completely understand why the band in interviews have said it could have been better.

They recorded a lot of Jazz tour shows, maybe a "new" live album that presents a complete show from that tour could be released as part of a Jazz package. To restore the missing songs to Live Killers wouldn't be the same album
