BM and RT will give more excuses the JD lost his mind and is not able to attend. FM would have loved it, everything BM and RT are doing are FM approved, and AL is a gift from god.

Loving some of the comments hilarious ha.
I wonder how many celebrities at the Goonies I mean the Grammys mumble to themselves ffs at Brian and Roger peddling We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions again.
You would think Queen never made any more music after The Game album in Brian's out of touch mind, he'll be buzzing that celebrities will be listening to the gift from god singing WWRY.
Regardless of what Brian and Roger do the gift from god will be singing, let's hope they both don't stand in the background like they did on James Corden's TV show as if it was Lambert's band and Lambert's music, all the attention will be on AL at the Grammy's and not the two old men behind him strumming along. Good for Mr John Deacon on staying away from Brian and Roger and the gift from god.

Would be nice if Deacon played with them one more time though....I do agree Brian and Roger lost the plot a long time ago. Can't deny that....but so did almost every other old band.

Not going to happen. John has left the Queen building al long time ago, at this point he can visit strip clubs on a regular basis without being recognized.
And I have the feeling the relationship between Deacon and Maylor is far from great. They went seperate ways for a reason.
I actually think that Brian said there isn't any contact with John at all.

Deacon knew they were going to turn into their own tribute act circus so fucked them off. Good on him i say.

I agree with Magus.. John was realistic he knew if Freddie was gone Queen was over. But then again I get Brian and Roger want to keep playing but they should have played in the concept of just BM and RT singing! It would work! As to John it was be a really nice surprise if he showed up and played at least just for this

Will they receive the award at the "Grammy-Show" at all and thus attend it? I read somewhere that these lifetime-award-grammys come with a little tribute-concert in the summer. And that they aren't part of the actual Grammys. Is that wrong?

Yeah but only after he recorded with them, post Freddie, and played live with Elton John fronting them.
He fucked them off did he? Prove it. . . . . on hang on you can't!

I get the impression that John might have experienced some sort of severe stage fright in that concert in Paris, and realized he no longer wanted to play live. I recall Jacky Gunn stating that she thought he missed having Freddie to hide behind and take less of the spotlight. John was at least somewhat involved in 1999 as the Wyclef remake was on Greatest Shite III.
I don't believe John started "fucking off" Roger and Brian until the Robbie Williams fiasco.

He shoots, he misses.
The tribute circus begins with that 5ive shite and yes by then he had fucked them off.
