Queen to receive Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammy Awards

I'm more concerned about who's performing what for them than Lambert, as a concert and further ceremony is taking place in the summer. Please don't have someone bad do a tribute..

Brian will no doubt perform ten different versions of we will rock you, finishing off with the fast version of Two Fux, followed with how much he loves celebrities who like Queens music.

Adam should be there...not that John Deacon guy. Adam helped create all those great songs. Seriously though, This is about Queen not Lambert. He shouldn't even be mentioned..not being a hater, just my opinion.

Quite ironic considering Queen never won one Grammy in there entire career, clearly the Grammy's didn't consider their music good enough for an award, just as Led Zeppelin never won a Grammy.

It's pretty obvious AL will be performing with Brian and Roger i mean who else will sing We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions ha, I don't think Deacon will show up I just can't imagine he's a fan of these Queen+ shows especially after his remarks about Robbie Williams with Brian and Roger years ago.

My thoughts exactly! I wish the guys (not just JD) had the balls to boycott the whole events.

Yea, just like bands like Sabbath who bashed the Rock n Roll hall of fame for years only to kiss up to them when they got Inducted. Let Queen enjoy what they earned. Longevity of their music is why they get praised these days. Doesn't matter what the media and critics said in the past. Queen proved them wrong. End of story.

Maybe John will surprise everyone during the end of the We are the champions performace, and come out wearing Freddie's old crown. That would be legendary.

I honestly don't see them doing anything as QUEEN; it'd be HISTORIC if John joined them again for a song (*just the THREE) probably TATDOOL...segue into TIE YOUR MOTHER DOWN.

I expect a collaboration. Tina Turner is getting the same award. ..i expect Beyoncé to be there. I expect a Beyoncé/AL duet with PROUD MARY

Like any awards ceremony, it promotes the organisation that organises it and promotes the products that they sell.

The Oscars, The Grammys, The Brits, etc all promote their associated industries.

Either view it for what it is, or for what its publicity says. . . .

They are in discussion with Mr Deacon,the crown idea sounds great....but they will have to perform Spread Your Wings,Break Free,Need your Loving,Best Friend or Bite the Dust,or perhaps all of them?
