There are only so many people that will be bothered to fork out upwards of £80 to watch a highly polished turd bounce about the stage singing karaoke backed by a bloke more interested in taking pictures on his mobile than doing anything creative on guitar.

No one should be surprised.

And that is why I am not interested in this travesty of a version of Queen any more. Brian is more interested in touring with karaoke singers (Lambert and Kerry Ellis) these days and is not bothered writing new stuff. At least Roger is coming up with something new music wise.

If only I could spare the time to travel, I would certainly see as many of those gigs as possible.
I don't know about the UK, but the market for Queen+ is huge in Brazil. This weekend a standard Queen cover band sold out Brasília's biggest arena lower level. They did not sell the upper level, but they would have succeeded.
C'mon guys, enjoy it while you can...

It has become a joke, all on BM and RT, they are just trying to cash in as much as they can and as long as they can, that's all. It's not about carrying on the music, that's a bunch of bull.

Obviously they're making money, but the entire purpose of what they're doing is to ensure the next generation knows who Queen are.
They don't need the money. They've had their own publishing since 1978 - they are richer than 99.999% of musicians who have ever lived. Even most Queen fans don't know this, but it is literally the most important fact about the band.

I personally don't believe it's for the money at all, but even if it is, I really don't care. The show is a fun night out with some of the best music ever written played brilliantly, what's to complain about. It's no gonna last forever, enjoy it while you have the chance.

It is not cheap..

Absolutely, if they were touring just to make money they'd tour with a show that was at the very least half the size of the current production.
Transport, crewing, and equipment all add up. In the last five years Lionel Richie, Elton John and Bad Co have toured with 30 crew and between five and seven trucks. Queen have 22 trucks on the current tour and over 70 crew. . .if you really think they're just "in it for the money" you do the sums.

Some people just get bored of the same thing over and over. Can't blame them.

I have Queen fatigue since the Rainbow box set.

I am still very hungry for almost everything Queen related and I like that a lot, as it makes me happier than otherwise. Maybe it's a gift from God? (pun intended)

QUEEN: FATIGUE
Was trying to figure out what this would be about. Maybe
...another tired compilation.
...the name of their final Tour (whenever that happens)
A tour program from the last one
a commentary on their stage performance...
Wouldn't have thought it was the effect of all of the above

Yes, so they can make more money from the next generation :)
They promoted the news of the world album(stage etc.....) and yet they stopped playing the "deep cut" songs right away......reason given=don't feel like it or something
like that was there answer, this to me points it's not about the music...........
