^ expensive houses, cars, wives, girlfriends, hookers...errm....escorts, lifestyles.

To be fair. Maybe they just wanted to "get out of the house" and do "all that crap again"

It's not about carrying on the music, that's a bunch of bull.
Obviously they're making money, but the entire purpose of what they're doing is to ensure the next generation knows who Queen are.

They don't need the money. They've had their own publishing since 1978 - they are richer than 99.999% of musicians who have ever lived. Even most Queen fans don't know this, but it is literally the most important fact about the band.
i agree it's legacy-related but i chalk up the other 50% to the fact that Brian and Roger love performing live and want to do so as long as they can. I saw them - they weren't *just* up there playing the hits - you actually felt like they were reliving their past and enjoying the energy from the audience.

Now, if people stop going - I would imagine they'd stop playing. You won't see them in clubs.

^^^^^ Agreed, they look like they're having a blast and really enjoying the response they're getting.

I don't believe that for a second. Given the wives, children and associated hanger's on there are in the QPL organisation, there's an 'obligation' on Brian and Roger to perform.

They're worth over $170 million each, I really don't think they need that much extra money to have to do long arena tours unless they're loving it. I know a few musicians and the one thing they all have in common is a need to be onstage, they get off on the buzz, the adrenaline, the energy exchange with the audience. It's not like a normal job where you just do it to earn money it's a passion and most of them don't stop until they literally drop. Why is it so hard to believe they are actually loving being back out there.

I heard an interview with Peter Freestone from 2015 and he said pretty much the same thing, they need to be performing and in his words he's never seen them so happy.
