You jest, but another hits compilation is long overdue and that's what we're getting this year. Thank the movie for that.

Very interesting piece of info here regarding Jazz sessions. Once that movie is FINALLY finished and released would be great if they do Jazz boxset nex year with Tokyo, Hammersmith and all three Paris shows on video.

A jazz box would tie in nicely with FBG being all over the film.
The fact is, they need as much product on the shelves by november.

They will skip over Jazz it wasn't a massive hit at the time and isn't seen as a 'classic' album, we will however see The Game box set, mark my words

But it does have DSMN on it which is their most popular song with teenies. And FBG and BT which they are currently touring. I'd say there's more potential for a Jazz box rather than, say, a ADATR box on the strength of it including STL. NOTW was given the deluxe treatment down to WWRY and WATC.
Agree about The Game. That would be great as long as they include a Bike It t-shirt.

Leaves next year free for a Live Killers box set.
Mind you, i'm not holding my breath for anything that will be worth the money.

LK is a tough one. I love albums with bonus tracks added - either at the end of the album or across several discs, but LK deluxe seems to require extra tracks inserted into the running order or re jigging the entire album. I think I'd like that one to be reissued as is - but with an additional concert attached. This could be one performance (say, Hammersmith '79) or more than likely a composite of several picking the best of whatever is in the vaults from that era and tracks missed off LK. Best of both worlds.

The next big release is the Movie and then the Movie soundtrack....which is basically greatest hits repackaged yet again....I wouldn't bother with A Jazz or The Game deluxe....Just release an anthology.

Roger really hated the sound of Live Killers so if they were to ever do anything with it, he's want the whole thing totally re-mixed and I suspect a huge amount of work on getting the sound right

That's what I mean - might as well leave it how it is for those who like it, and release something more complete from that tour
All in a bumper box!

"You jest, but another hits compilation is long overdue and that's what we're getting this year. Thank the movie for that."
Now what if, just if, they surprise the fans and include some real studio banter and snippits of out-takes in the movie and maybe add full versions on a deluxe movie soundtrack?
Chances are slim, but never say never...

It's about time they released Greatest Hits with Lambert's voice instead of Freddie's.
Then next year Wembley '86.

I can't see it. There'd be more of a possibility of getting box set for The Game. Not dissimilar to News of the World, that was also a big seller. Not so much when it comes to Jazz. And that's what it's all about these days. £$£$£$£$£$£$.
